JANUARY '20
In an effort to rebel and reinvent herself, Wither Rose embraces a stupid nickname from her siblings and abandons "Viridian" at the family farm far, far away. She arrives in 'Soulsland, staying in her uncle's cabin as she has visited him in the past — only this time, she doesn't intend to return home to her overbearing mother and shithead brothers.

MARCH '20
Lots of misadventures are had and new friendships are forged. Wither makes contact with a Kingdom in the north through osmosis, and after a hunting excursion goes awry, she is brought there to be nursed back to health like the big dumb idiot she is. New Caledonia makes an impression on her.

Wither saves a pretty blonde man from drowning. Interestingly, Calan is also from this New Caledonia, too, and they chat and flirt while he gets feeling back in his fingers and toes.

During her hunt, Wither just about takes the eye out of a poor passerby; she verbally berates this "Theopald Casablanca" before they calm down and go take out a hog together. The beginning of a beautiful (if not occasionally annoying) friendship.

Graceful as ever, Wither twists the heck out of her ankle while taking down a buck and decides the best course of action is to drag an entire deer with her to the (hopefully) nearby Caledonian borders. She is discovered by Amon, who carts her to resident healer Ierian Songthorn for treatment.

APRIL '20
After resting up under Ierian and Amon's supervision, Wither decides she's done bumming off of the pack's kindness and wants to join up officially, shedding her previous reservations for getting caught up in a pack in exchange for her vagabond ways and her freedom. It turns out that Caledonia isn't a stiff as she feared, and it seems like a good fit for her, at least for now.

Wither meets the stuck-up Fennore for the first time, who marches her straight to the High King Iomair to air her displeasure. Instead, Wither decides to join the pack and cement herself as a pain in Fennore's side for the forseeable future.

At Biff's Bar, Wither runs into a very unpleasant, very intimidating Wrath who takes pleasure in riling her up. She decides to get the hell out of Dodge before her big mouth gets her into some real trouble.

Given that they're reluctant roommates, Fennore decides it's a good idea to make nice and offers to hear Wither out and braid her rat's nest of a mane.

JUNE '20
The dog days of summer lazily roll by. More adventuring, more loners to meet, and another chance encounter with her friend/frenemy Wally. Also, Fennore moves out, leaving just Wither and Amon to share the house, thank god.

New Caledonia's anniversary! It's a fairly busy time between the Founders Day Feast and the grand opening of a new bar down south — and Wither sure as hell isn't gonna miss that. Drunk and high shenanigans galore — and, to top it all off, Wither isn't a virgin anymore! Mom would be so proud.

OoooOOooo, spooky season rolls in with the mists as usual. Wither is more or less ignorant to the strange happenings in the Realm as she goes about her life — and develops a dangerous infatuation with the resident Priest, oblivious to the fact he took advantage of her unreliable drunken state on their first encounter.

Wither has a good time at the Call to Court, though the Salsolans make her a little uneasy from what she's heard about them, though she's in no position to blame after all the Thistle Kingdom has supposedly done for the Realm. At least the wine was good.

Shit hits the fan as Wither's substance use comes to a head. After months of being strung along by Rand, Wither realizes that he never gave two fucks about her and flies off the handle — at Tora and Kaly's wedding, no less. She is subdued by her packmates and thrown into the Underthing for safe-keeping while the Valar figure out what to do with her.

Presented with an out, Wither decides to take it, and she leaves behind all of her friends and accomplishments in the Realm. Embittered by her experiences as Wither Rose, she decides to go back to being Viridian Rose in an attempt to distance herself from all the fuck-ups from the last year. A loner again, Viri starts anew, putting a sizeable amount of distance between herself and New Caledonia.
