Allured by the Revlis name, Ankh D'Aabt found himself bewitched by Grace Revlis at a time when he'd been considering his legacy. Charming the woman (or so he had thought at the time), it wasn't long before Grace fell pregnant and bore Ankh three children: Malfoy D'Angelo, Baelish D'Angelo and Saga D'Angelo - it was after the birth of his offspring that he realised he'd been deluding himself, for the instant she was able the Revlis female left, without a means of contacting her or care for the welfare of the children that they had borne.

Raised by Ankh alone, it wasn't long before the children too abandoned him in turn, seeking to forge their own paths instead. Finding herself in the land of Nova Scotia, alone, Saga encountered a wandering female who directed her towards a group of canines where she might find a place to set down roots.

A founding member of Mistfell Vale, Saga was a hardworking member from the instant of its creation and in less than a year attained the coveted title of Starkhelm. Not too long later, she found herself a young mother, Caspar and Daniel were born to her and former Krokaran Oscar Morelli in February of 2019. Oscar seeming disappeared off of the face of the earth immediately after and thus, Saga had her first heartbreak.

Some short months later, she was named the Ursarchon by Felix Nightlark and Calia Larsen, starting her term as the third leader of Mistfell Vale. As time drew on, both Felix and Calia slowly retired from their leadership duties, culminating with their departure from Mistfell Vale in August 2019. Saga kept her title as Ursarchon as she ascended to sole leadership, decreeing that future leaders would take on a house inspired leadership title. A month later, she gave birth to her third son, Ramsey, fathered by Del Cenere Gang's Comandante, Boone Winthrop. As the Comandante was already married, Ramsey's parentage has been kept a closely guarded secret, with the boy himself not even knowing.

Half a year later, terms were brokered between Athras Eryn, Lord-Regent of New Caledonia, relating to trade and protection between the two packs. Athras' terms were more... biological than tangible, and two months later, Evariste and Esyllt were born. In June 2020, Saga disbanded Mistfell Vale to join New Caledonia and raise her children there.

Some months later, while working towards becoming a Heartward in New Caledonia, Saga became a mother again. Lossë and Meril, fathered by Arran Fir-Chlis, were born in early December 2020. Having been the only father of her children to remain in contact with their offspring, Saga did not begrudge him when he suggested that they carry his name, nor did she protest when he suggested names from his own culture.

After a fourth more or less consecutive litter, Saga was largely bedridden in the month after the birth of her sons. During this time, she attempted to become closer to Ierian Songthorn, a fellow New Caledonian who had taken the time to help her with her third litter when they were young and continued to aid her after the birth of her litter with Arran.

Saga was a founding member of Mistfell Vale and remained a member and later Ursarchon until it's disbandment in July 2020. She now resides in New Caledonia with six of her seven children.

1.  Quotes about Saga

  • “Can I t-tell you s-something?” Mystery asked, but wanted to say before Saga could respond with something stiff or abrasive like she seemed poised to do.

2.  Appearance

2.1  Basics

Essentials

  • Species: Graceful and well muscled, Saga's domestic heritage is evident despite her leaning heavily towards being exclusively wolfish.
  • Fur: Typically wolfish, dense with coarse guard hairs.
    • Optime Hair: -
  • Facial Features: Slightly oversized ears betray domestic heritage, as well as a general narrowness and length.
  • Build and Size: Saga stands visibly shorter than average. This is due to a spell of malnutrition when she was around six months of age.
  • Humanization: Fairly, able to read and write, though spends a minimal amount of time in her Optime form.

2.2  Forms

Lupus

26 in (58.5 cm)
Wolfish, but with a litheness betraying domestic heritage, Saga's lightweight yet muscled form sits on long legs.

Secui

34 in (86 cm)
Saga rarely uses this for, but when she does she finds herself much better proportioned. Heavier fur creates the illusion of further weight, offsetting the length of her legs.

Optime

5ft 2in (62 in) (157.5 cm)
Shaply, yet thing, Saga utilises this form least. Firm muscles graduate into subtle curves. With strong bones, defined through domestic heritage, Saga is a sight to behold.

Adornments

  • A black sea glass necklace with a black leather cord. It formerly had a matching black feather attached to it, though it has long since fallen off. It was given to her upon attaining Drakeshund III while a member of Mistfell Vale. Worn in all forms.
  • A pale green sea glass necklace with a beige leather cord. Give to her by the father of her two eldest sons. Worn in all forms.

3.  Personality

Since retiring from leadership, Saga's personality has taken several turns.

Without a high level of public scrutiny, she's devolved slightly in terms of maturity. One could say this is her chance to act as she should have as a child had she not been attempting to act so mature at such a young age. These days, she is not so concerned with how others regard her and is more concerned with living her life in the way she wants to.

Her maternal instinct has only grown since her first litter and she remains fiercely protective of her little family to the point where, so used to being a single parent, she struggles to leave Lossë and Meril in the sole company of their father.

She still retains her sharp sense of humour and, if anything, it's developed even further now she doesn't feel the need to be so serious all of the time.

Her goal now, after suffering the figurative loss of two men she was deeply affectionate for and leaving everything she'd ever known, is to find some sense of stability for herself.

6.  History: Before Souls

Allured by the Revlis name, Ankh D'Aabt found himself bewitched by Grace Revlis at a time when he'd been considering his legacy. Charming the woman (or so he had thought at the time), it wasn't long before Grace fell pregnant and bore Ankh three children: Malfoy D'Angelo, Baelish D'Angelo and Saga D'Angelo - it was after the birth of his offspring that he realised he'd been deluding himself, for the instant she was able the Revlis female left, without a means of contacting her or care for the welfare of the children that they had bore.

Once the trio were weaned, their mother disappeared once again, leaving none of the children with any recollection of her. The children were surrendered into their father's care at the Salsolan Outpost, a merchant stronghold belonging to Ankh's birth pack Salsola. Saga and her brothers were raised single-handedly by their father, who doted on them and was careful to impart many of his skills on them, teaching them to read and write among many other things. Spirituality was always a favourite lecture of Ankh's, inspired further by the mysticism that surrounded Salsola and it's coven. A realist since birth, Saga was unreceptive to the teachings which Ankh could not prove. Constantly resistant to theology, she, therefore, found herself feeling like an outsider, even before she officially became one. Her relationship with her birth pack developed tentatively, especially having grown up away from the main territory and therefore when she travelled to Nova Scotia to seek out Salsola proper, it was more due to that being the sensible thing to do at the time rather than any true allegiance.

The trio reached six months of age in December 2017, and it was then when Saga decided to strike out alone. Tired of being an outlier and sure of her ability to survive alone, she left a note for her father and brothers and stole off into the dawn.

A founding member of Mistfell Vale, Saga was there from the very beginning and threw herself straight into her duties as an aspiring diplomat, greeting Honrin, Kjintora , and Everett after they attempted to sail up the St. John's River unaware that a new pack impeded their access. She was also the first Mistwalker to represent the Vale on a trip to Sapient, and recruited Jura in the first few weeks on the job.
