  • The seed icon, is from that goddamn Death Flower icon hunt/riddle thing the 'SA tortured us with. Me, Kite, Kitty, Lin and Despi all got given them for the mental suffering we were subjected to trying to solve it. Myst won the contest overall, probably aided somewhat by our very public breakdowns discussions. Now we're forever haunted by that dark, dark time...
  • The bear icon, is a purchased prize from Mistfell Vale's pack game! It's the House Wolverthorne which is the house that Saga belongs to within the pack!
  • Her custom title, reading URSA MAJOR, is also a prize from the Halloween raffle. It was chosen to reflect Saga's position as the Starkhelm of Wolverthorne and the loyalty she has to Mistfell Vale.
  • Her custom title, reading LOOK TO THE STARS, was a prize from the AU Contest in late 2020. They're lyrics from Muse's Stockholm Syndrome, which is one of my favourite songs from my favourite band, and I just thought they fit the theme of the rest of her titles really well too!
  • Her custom title, reading FORTITUDE, is a prize from the Mistfell Vale territory contest in 2018. It is in reference to a tv show of the same name from which Saga takes some inspiration from. Go watch it, it's amazing!
  • The jigsaw piece icon, is a consolation prize from the 'Souls 17th Birthday zine/crossword/word search/spot the difference contest!
  • The floppy disc icon, is a prize from 'Souls 18th birthday wiki update contest. It was a prize for collecting at least 50 entries!

PAST

• Atlas Greygrief
  • RISE BY SIN with the hover text "by virtue fall" comes from a quote by Shakespeare's Measure for Measure and adapted slightly.
  • FIEND ANGELICAL with the hover text "beautiful tyrant" is again, another Shakespeare quote, this time from Romeo and Juliet. It's supposed to echo his mother's own title o serpent heart in terms of both source material and context.
  • FALLING FROM THE SKY with the hover text "they're cast out from the heaven's light" is from Volbeat's The Devil's Bleeding Crown.
• Daniel
  • His custom title, reading mess with the yee wiht the hover text 'you get the haw' is literally just a dumb cowboy meme for my dumb cowboy.
• Narcissa Greygrief
  • Her griffon icon, was won in 'Souls 18th birthday wiki update raffle. Created by Ash, it is now used as the House Greygrief family icon.
  • Her custom title, reading o serpent heart, comes from Romeo and Juliet!
• Ankh D'Aabt
  • His custom title, reading PALE MAN, is a reference to the movie Pan's Labyrinth, and the fact he's just a spooky boi tbh.
  • His custom title, reading DANSE MACABRE, is in reference to "The Dance of Death", where a personification of death summons representatives from all walks of life to dance along to the grave, typically these are a pope, emperor, king, child, and labourer. Also because Ankh is spooky, scary, skeleton man.
  • The fallen leaves icon, is a prize from the Halloween raffle Mistfell Vale held in October 2018! It was transferred to Ankh's account after I won SoSu for the first time because Saga's account had too many titles on it!
• Mads Ibsen
  • The skull icon, was a prize from a Lasky contest. It was originally on Nex de le Poer's account, but as moved to Mads since Nex had been long inactive.
  • The globe icon, was a goodbye prize from Sapient when it disbanded. The hover over 'CPH -> ???' came from the fact that Mads is originally from Copenhagen and CPH is the IATA code for the airport serving the city, the arrow signifies travel or change and the question marks signify that once Sapient had disbanded neither I nor Mads knew where he was going to end up!
  • The ram skull icon, was a prize from CdM! I chose a ram skull just because it was a very Mads thing to pick!
