This character is a former pNPC of Krokar!
This Canadian gal was born in 2011, and like Taseko, has an inherent gift for taking care of animals — perhaps a nod to her border collie blood. Hazel joined the group that became Krokar after the hurricane. She followed the scent of their sheep to their settlement and made herself at home with the canines. Although she knew little about caribou, she knew how to herd the sheep and goats. Since Hazel did not know Aster or Briar, she couldn't mourn with her new companions, so she supported them in whatever way she could, which included learning to paddle a canoe and do some fishing.
When their home flooded, Hazel was surprised. For some reason, it never occurred to her that it might happen and it took her a few days to come out of her shock enough to help the rest of the canines pick through what was left. The loss of the livestock was especially hard on her because when she went to try to help them, they were already gone. She was ready to move on and stop thinking about them when Gus and Lucille finally sent for them, and she readily headed off with the small group. When they arrived, she was happy to meet even more canines and start getting settled.
In the autumn of 2016, Hazel and Tybalt Cormier left Krokar with a group of pack mates to establish a trading post outside of the region. This group of pilgrims eventually established the Old Ironsides depot in Portland. After seeing that the depot was fully established, Hazel returned home to Krokar proper with four new joiners: Salome de la Croix, Marla de la Croix, Jonah Leomaris, and Zoe Cormier.
Before Krokar's disbandment at the end of October, Hazel was a Drover in the pack and was instrumental in providing its members with an abundance of pack morale!

2. Personality
Hazel is a high-energy energy girl, and tends to talk fast, too, sometimes getting a bit ahead of herself and stumbling over her words. She likes herding the animals a lot more than they liked to be herded, so she refrains from doing so unless necessary. While she is usually kind and sweet, Hazel loudly swears up a storm when angry and she doesn't think anyone is listening, despite how loud her voice is. She is good with livestock, with whom she spends a lot of her time.
