Tybalt "Ty" Cormier

Tybalt "Ty" Cormier was the first born in a litter of four puppies: three boys and one girl. His family was very close despite how much traveling they did apart as traders. He grew up learning to fish, sail on rivers, and trade, but found that being a warrior was his favorite thing to do. He is willing to try to help others learn, although his patience tends to wear thin quickly.

In 2016, he was living near Freetown when the Red Star fell, leaving him with burns that scarred, although Salome de la Croix helped him heal. He currently resides at Krokar's Old Ironsides Depot.

1.  Appearance

1.1  Basics

Essentials Species: Ty is a mutt and he looks it. His shaggy fur and shape don't look like any particular dog. Fur: The texture is wiry from the pointer blood. Optime Hair: His hair is wiry and wavy. Facial Features: Both of his ears stand up. Build and Size: Ty is a large, solidly built dog with bulky muscles from training to fight. Lupus: His shaggy fur hides his muscles, but makes him look larger. Optime: Ty is large with broad shoulders and defined muscles, hidden under his fur. The thick fur adds to how large he looks. Humanization: The adopter is free to add accessories!

1.2  Forms

110lbs (50kg) 34 in (86 cm) Lupus It is very clear that Tybalt is a dog. He doesn't look specifically like any one of the breeds in him.

155lbs (70kg) 44 in (112 cm) Secui Ty enjoys using this form for feral fighting sometimes, as well as hunting large game.

220 lbs (100 kg) 6 ft, 3 in (75 in | 190.5 cm) Optime (Preferred) This is Ty's most common form. He grows very large and tall.

2.  Personality

Tybalt is the gentle giant. As long as he's not trying to teach someone something, he has all the patience in the world. He loves playing with puppies and helping out his packmates, however he also takes his training seriously. He tends to be more solitary when it comes to this. Although he is also good at keeping others in line and making sure they're doing what they're supposed to be, he prefers not to have to do this. His voice is low and a bit rough, so he can sometimes come across as cranky when he's not.

His personality is open for expansion as part of character growth.

3.  Relationships

Key Relations Gus Cormier: his youngest brother. Ty and Gus tend to butt heads, although he would do anything he could to protect his brother. They get along better now that they're older than they did as puppies, mostly because Ty no longer tries to pick fights with Gus. Lucille: his sister-in-law. He didn't like Lucille at first, and is still sometimes iffy about her, but he likes her spunk and loyalty. Finlay Cormier: Ty's younger brother. They two get along fairly well, mainly because they both enjoy fighting. They have a friendly, competitive relationship. Eliza Cormier: Ty's little sister. He's generally protective of her, and she has him wrapped around her little finger... mostly.

Minor Relations None yet. Former Relations Aster Cormier: mother. She died during the hurricane in 2012. Briar Cormier: father. He died during the hurricane in 2012.

4.  Skills and Inventory

Abilities Fighting Tybalt is very good at fighting, both feral and using a spear or sword. Fighting: Spear, Sword (Journeyman) Fishing He doesn't spend as much time fishing as the rest of his family, but he is pretty good at fighting with a line. Fishing (Journeyman) Sailing Tybalt is skilled at sailing, and owns a raft, which is currently in Krokar, free for its members to use. Sailing (Master) Trading Due to his time away from Krokar, Tybalt has increased his skill in trading through practice and necessity. Trade (Apprentice) The adopter is free to develop more skills!

5.  History

Overview

Tybalt was born to a family of fishermen. Like the rest of the group, he learned to sail on a river at a young age, having been in a canoe before he could shift. He was the first puppy born in a litter of four. As the biggest, it was easy for him to win fights growing up until Finlay started being able to fight back more. As he grew, he found that he preferred to fight for a reason other than dominance. He learned to use a spear and a bow, and became an escort to his family when they went on trading expeditions.

It was during one of these expeditions that he and his parents were caught in a hurricane in October 2012. The three of them were washed away by a tidal surge. His strength allowed him to hold onto a tree, but his parents weren't so lucky. He eventually found their bodies and buried them so scavengers wouldn't get them. He then made his way home to tell his family, and they decided to continue with their trading and move forward as best they could.

In 2014, their home flooded, so the pack decided to move. Tybalt stayed to help with scavenging from their previous home with Eliza Cormier, after which he and his sister came to the newly founded pack, Krokar. Once he had dropped off the animals and got everyone settled, Tybalt decided that he wanted to travel for a while and better his trading skills, and so he set off, with his home base in Freetown.

The fall of the Red Star in 2016 left him with burns, he met Salome de la Croix in Portland where Freetown's residents moved. She helped him heal, and once he was on his feet again, he visited his family in Krokar before returning to Portland. Shortly afterwards, Krokar founded the Old Ironsides Depot, which is now his home base.
