A competent hunter of many things, from prey to the odd canine bounty, Bartolv is a creature that thrives for the hunt and strives to prove himself through his service to others. Born to the wandering loner Brana Blaise, he was supposedly sired by Nivosus. Raised by his mother, he was brought up to follow and embrace the Blaise family social norms. Subsequently, Bartolv is an overbearing and over protective presence within his sister, Austri's life after the pair struck out on their own, opting not to return to Czechoslovakia with their mother at the tender age of seven months. In 2014, Austri and Bart, upon direction of their mother, sought out their father and joined Sapient.
Often he finds himself exposed to ridicule, as well as avoided and treated as a nuisance by his biological family. Yet like water off a ducks back, little of it seems to even register with the young hunter, let along bother him; Bartolv is somewhat impaired when it comes to social interaction, prone to having abrupt transitions in his speech, literal interpretations and miscomprehension of nuance, thus he is prone to making blunders when trying to communicate and connect with others; in many cases, his attitude can be perceived as both arrogant and rude, although such is never his intent.
Bartolv was a member of Sapient, ranked as a Cessavi up until the pack disbanded in July 2018. Bart held the metier of Huntsmen and was an skilled hunter and tracker, seeking to expand his skills in skinning and tanning to aid his sister; to provide materials for his sister's tailoring and other skilled pack members.

Interaction
- Speech: Prone to verbosity if area is of interest. Otherwise short and blunt, his voice a rough growl. Speech often contains abrupt transitions.
- Scent: Sapient, Moineau, Generaly earthy scents.
- Quirks, Gestures, Etc.: Bartolv strongly prefers to follow his routines. Can be perceived as a fidget; often preoccupies himself with compulsive behaviors like lining thing up in patterns. Very inflexible in his interests and is inattentive to anything outside of hunting.
- General Posture and Body Language: His long and lanky build is only augmented by the confident and proud way he holds himself. He was raised to constantly be assured of his own status and abilities, and his pose clearly shows that.
2. Personality
Bartolv was raised in a ‘traditional’ society infused with gender-roles, customs, and prejudices. Even after leaving home at a young age, he has towed most of these early values with him, and many remain with him today. Above all else, Bartolv is the incarnation of cool, calm control. He was raised in a household where men were supposed to remain serene in all situations, keeping their emotions deep underneath the surface and making only the most logical decision without emotional bias. Even when the situation becomes stressful and inflexible, Bartolv only very rarely shows signs of any true emotions. The most you’ll ever get out of him is perhaps a dim sense of boredom, disconnected curiosity, or distinguished aloofness.
Family honor was instilled within Bartolv from a young age – one is only worth the reputation of their last name. Because of this, Bartolv has an elevated view of authority figures, especially those within his own family. He sees titles and status as holding great amounts of honor, and holds great pride in his own titles, though he does not allow himself to express it more than a humble acknowledgment. Because of his views, he respects anyone who holds high titles. Well, almost anyone. While Bartolv has no problem obeying men of higher rank, he has significant issues obeying women. In his eyes, women belong at home, not because they are second-class citizens, but because they require more protection than men and would have a harder time performing menial labor task. This leads to great difficulties when it comes to following directions given by women in a place outside the home. Though he may do it if he agrees with the orders, you would have a very hard time if he disagrees.
Much like the rest of his family, Bartolv has a very high level of curiosity and need for knowledge. He enjoys practical, but intellectual pursuits, usually through hands-on learning and observation. Though he isn’t completely against it, he does not readily enjoy the accusation of knowledge through reading. He’d much rather be out in the field learning directly from the source. When approaching a problem or just life in general, Bartolv almost always approaches it with calculating and analytical precision. He does not let his petty emotions get in the way of seeing the whole picture, nor does he get so emotionally involved that he sees only what he wants to see. In truth, he is the perfect scientist, though not exactly the best conversation partner.

5. History
Bartolv was the result of a short fling between Nivosus Moineau and the wandering loner Brana Blaise. As a child, Bartolv did not know his father, and was raised solely by his mother and his uncle, who was their off-and-on traveling companion. With the Blaise family morals and traditions being drilled into his head since birth, he never thought much of his mother, and never truly became close to her. Instead, he spent most of his time with his uncle, who taught him hunting and fighting, as well as a couple other ‘masculine’ task. However, his uncle was known for regularly disappearing, and therefore at a young age, Bartolv became a major supporter of their small family, though his mother’s sewing did allow the family to trade for much of what they needed.
As Bartolv and his sister approached seven months, Brana, in a fit of homesickness, decided that it was about time she returned home. Bartolv and Austri, his sister, opted to stay put in Canada, where they continued traveling. At this point, Bartolv began taking serious responsibility for his sister, who he felt was his charge to protect. After months of traveling around Canada, the pair caught wind that their father was located somewhere in ‘Souls, and agreed that they should seek him out. After a couple of months of searching, they found themselves at the borders of Sapient, where they decided to stay.
