Nimh Brádaigh

Nimh Brádaigh is the daughter of Brumaire Moineau and Kane Brádaigh, born in Airgid Gleann. After a tragedy struck her family tribe, Nimh and her sisters Máire and Tierney fled from their homeland and across the seas to Nova Scotia. Shortly after reaching this new land, the sisters' bickerings led to Nimh deciding to temporarily go alone.

She is currently a loner.

1.  Appearance

Last born of her sisters, Nimh is the smallest of the three Brádaigh girls - But that by no means makes her small overall. As with her sisters, Nimh has inherited the Amazonian bloodlines of their mother, and the brutish strength of their culture. She is long-legged and surprisingly feminine in form, but don't be deceived, as her curvaceous bod can pack quite a hefty punch. Beneath her wiry, wolfhound-esque fur, Nimh has the marbled musculature common to her family and tribe. The blood of the wolfhound and the dogs in her father's lineage has provided the girl with an unusually proportioned body; A high, narrow waist is supported by long legs and huge feet, which have either a wide fighting stance or a sensual, alluring one depending on her mood. The girl has a tall, foreign profile, with a sharp doggish nose, high brow and long, elegant neck.

Her exotic heritage is very apparent in not only her build, but also her coloring. Nimh's markings are evident of her mixed blood, with a wild combination of cool and warm grays, warm timbers and tans, and creams mixed with cool off-white splashed across her features. She is primarily a blend of grays, with a darker hue covering her ears, neck, shoulders and tail and a lighter underbelly matching her socked feet. The bridge of her muzzle is a warm rusty orange, which, in optime form, matches the tumultuous cascade of her waist-length hair.

Lastly, the girl's eyes are a cool and assessing blue-grey, inherited from her mother's side of the family. The color leaps to silver when caught by the light, and can sometimes look otherworldly, a trait which Nimh plays up quite a lot.

1.1  Basics

Essentials Species: Most prominently, Nimh is a mixture of wolf and Irish wolfhound. Although her hybridization combines many other species, it is these two that stand out the most in her physicality. Although she is not built as solidly as her oldest sister Tierney, Nimh is still very muscular for a young female, with much more muscle mass than the average dog hybrid. Her breeding was, in its design, to create the strongest offspring possible, and so it has. The most dominant wolfhound traits in her form are found in her long legs, her high profile, floppy ears and downward muzzle, with higher and more expressive brows than a wolf. However, the wolf blood within her provides the girl with large, wide-spread feet, a straight spine and somewhat rounded cranium, as well as large canine teeth. Fur: Her pelt is dense and wiry, softening only at the hocks and underside, and lacking the bulkiness of a wolf around the throat. Her tail is primarily wolfish, although the hair is a little longer and more wavy there than usual. Optime Hair: What about their Optime hair? Remember, no color over here. 2012

• September: Due to a lack of pups in spite of vigorous attempts, Nimh's mother believed Ferris, her mate and current chief of the Nemain Tribe, was infertile. Desiring children, Kane travelled far away, where no one would recognize her, seeking someone who resembled Ferris to be the father of her children - Believing that in doing so, everyone would assume them to be Ferris' true heirs. After finding a suitable surrogate, Kane fell pregnant with the triplets. No one suspected a thing when they were born, as the three girl-children were strong bodied and of true Brádaigh appearance.

2013:

• March: Nimh had her first shift, stemmed from the simple desire to put on a pair of her mother's turquoise earrings.
• February: Cillian is born, unknown to everyone he is the only true heir of the clan's chief. Kane is surprised, and feels guilty that her mate IS fertile after all.
• April: Ceremony of blood takes place at 7 months of age, which Tier (The eldest of the triplets) takes part in, and Nimh does not. The ceremony goes wrong, resulting in shame upon the family and Máire suspects that the reason the ceremony went wrong is because they are not of the true blood;, this being the only logical explanation in accordance with their beliefs.
• May: Kane, weighed down by personal guilt and fear of exposure after the failed ceremony, begins training the triplets harder in the art of combat and other tribal customs, forcing them to seek perfection and prove their blood to be true and strong. Nimh rebels from the structure her mother builds around them, and spends most of her time goofing off and irritating her other sisters.
• August: Their mother grows restless and as the guilt and concern of wrath of the gods becomes too heavy, she finally spills the beans about their true heritage to the three girls in secret. Highly emotional at this startling news, the triplets storm off and begin arguing vehemently in the wilderness - Tier wanting to speak with their father, whilst Máire is more cautious and Nimh not as open to the idea of contacting their true father. Their arguing is broken up by the appearance of their younger brother Cillian; spiteful towards him and his true heritage, the argument escalates, awakening and drawing in a nearby bear. The bear attacks, littering Cillian with horrific injuries and wounding the sisters. In fear and sorrow they flee, believing their precious brother to be dead. Out of guilt, the triplets then exile themselves from the tribe, unable to face the shame of what has transpired.
