Nikolaj Parhelion is the secondborn son of Sen Parhelion and Kisho of Arconimbus, a feral pack located in Trillium Hollow. During his early puphood, Nikolaj suffered injuries during an attack by the same belligerents responsible for the Austringer Hostility against Krokar in 2016. He bears the scars of this attack on the right side of his face and ear.

The nephew of Milos Parhelion, a former Captain of Krokar, Nikolaj departed Arconimbus in an effort to find his uncle and make amends for his mother's betrayal. Though his siblings joined him for a short while, they went their separate ways, each for different reasons, leaving Niko to carry on alone. Not long after separating from his siblings, he found the Old Ironsides Trade Depot in Portland and currently resides there.
