Nishan

Long thought to have been lost during an escape attempt as a puppy, Nishan found his way to 'Souls in the summer of 2016 where he was reunited with his half-brother, Milos Parhelion, in neutral territory. After joining his brother in Krokar, Nishan spent a few months catching up with Milos and meeting the Luperci of the water-loving pack before leaving for the Old Ironsides depot in December 2016 in an attempt to make himself more useful to the pack.

Nishan resided at Old Ironsides until January 2017, when he decided to embark on a journey to Trillium Hollow with a woman who was searching for a missing friend. He decided to remain with his half-sister, Ayrin, and is presently a member of her pack.

2012

• April 10th: Nishan and his sister, Sela, are born to alpha pair Sybin and Kyrie.
• May 6th: Sybin takes in his bastard son, Milos (known then as Tolbin), after an argument with the boy's mother. Kyrie accepts the pup as an adopted son with little objection.
• July 27th-August 30th: Tensions run high between their pack, Sanguine River, and a neighboring pack, Arconimbus, who had begun testing Sybin and Kyrie's territorial boundaries weeks prior. A meeting between alphas reveals that Arconimbus has grown too large for its borders and it ultimately intends on taking over Sanguine River territory. Brief, mostly harmless skirmishes erupt around the borders of both packs and all-out war is on the minds of all in the pack.
• September 6th: Following a solid week of eerie peace, Arconimbus declares war on Sanguine River and the two packs collide in a fight for territory. Now at around four months of age, Nishan and his siblings are kept safe from battle at the heart of the territory under the watchful eye of the aging pupsitter, Amara. While the majority of the pack is away, three Luperci steal into the territory for the sole purpose of entrapping the three, young, non-Luperci pups and selling them for profit. After a short fight between the old pupsitter and the three spry Luperci, the young pups are collared and forcefully dragged away from the territory, leaving a dying Amara behind.
• September 7th: After trekking nearly non-stop for a almost a day, the pups' captors, Jaxon, Hogarth, and Pegar, set up camp for the evening. The pups are fitted with rope head halters to make them more compliant and, due to their exhaustion, put up very little struggle. However Sela, being the feistiest pup, manages to bite Hogarth's hand who responds by slashing her with his dagger. The metal catches the soft skin on her chest and shoulder and bites deep. Jaxon and Pegar attempt to bandage it but Sela puts up enough of a fight that they let her be. Milos and Nishan try to console their sister but they are kept far enough apart that they can only offer their words; Milos tells his siblings a story before they drift off to sleep.
• September 12th: Having developed a systemic infection from her wound, Sela collapses during travel and is unable to rise. The three Luperci argue for several minutes before Hogarth approaches Sela and promptly slits her throat. Milos and Nishan become momentarily unmanageable before being quickly subdued when Jaxon shifts into his Secui form. Confused and horrified by the sight of the shift and his suddenly massive appearance, the non-Luperci pups take a final sad glance at their dead sister before being forced to carry onwards.
• September 25th: While Jaxon and Hogarth are out hunting, Nishan manages to get his halter off and works at chewing through Milos'. Pegar, suspicious of the pups' sudden silence, goes to investigate and finds both pups missing. His companions quickly return to camp after Pegar calls them back and the three Luperci take off to search for the youths, following a clear trail West. Running as fast as their little legs can carry them, Milos and Nishan tear through the forest, hoping to put enough distance between themselves and their captors before their disappearance is discovered. But puppies are no match for fully grown Luperci and they are quickly overtaken. In a last-ditch effort to escape, Nishan attempts to leap a river much too large to clear and is pulled away in the current, leaving Milos alone.
  • Nishan was later found alive by a Luperci who eventually infected him with the virus.

2016

• July 26th: Nishan and Milos are reunited purely by chance. Nishan joins Krokar and works at meeting his pack mates. He quickly learns the fundamentals of life as a Krokaran.
• December: After months of watching his brother within the pack and learning of his family and status among his pack mates, Nishan decides to head out to Old Ironsides in an attempt to be more useful. He currently resides there.
