Rose Frost is the daughter of Kizzie Horne and Howell Frost, born in Mer Bleue. She was her traditional, fretful mother's favorite among her littermates because of her beauty and, coddled by Kizzie, she began to pick up on some of her attitudes. While always innocent in her intentions, she often drove a rift between herself and her siblings -- especially her older sister Lou, returned through the winter to give her parents a second chance -- but found solace in their unconditional support when things got tough. Somewhat sheltered and opinionated, she does not make friends easily.

Once she and her littermates reached of age, the three siblings left their home to strike out on their own. After a falling out between Rose and Sophie, the trio split apart; Beckett stayed with Rose, accompanying her to Inferni, where they reunited with Sophie -- and their older sibling, Kennedy. Rose began to develop a friendship with Kennedy, learning how to hunt from him (much to Beckett's chagrin).

She later disappeared in early spring of 2017...

1.1  Essentials

  • Species: Rose takes after her fraction of collie-dog blood in the face and fur, though her build is coyote.
  • Fur: Glossy and longhaired outer coat, thick and fluffy undercoat. Well groomed, free of debris.
  • Facial Features: Long, doggish muzzle. Tall, fluffy coyote ears. Dainty paws, fluffy tail.
  • Build and Size: Rose is the size of a small coyote. She has a petite build, agile.
