1. Synopsis

Born in Maine alongside his littermates Silvia Martel & Raeburn Martel, Owen & his siblings were raised in a traditional manner by Wade Martel and Annabel Ellery: spending a year or two figuring themselves out before leaving their family behind to pursue other interests. Right before they left, they witnessed the birth of one younger sibling: Willow Martel. Although the littermates separated, they remained in contact with one another. Owen found work with the Svantevit pack of Portland from time to time, eventually settling on the outskirts of the town and earning a reputation as a craftsman.

Never particularly quick on the uptake, Owen had no reason to revisit his birthplace, until Raeburn suggested so. Their final littermate Silvia Martel joined them, and it came as a shock to all of them to learn that tragedy had struck in their family. Their father had perished, attacked by wolves, and in the aftermath their mother had abandoned their younger sibling: Willow. Raeburn, being born a wanderer to begin with, was the first of the littermates to track down and find Willow in Del Cenere: it had not been hard to find information about him in the nearby Palisade. Owen felt reluctant to leave his budding life in Portland, but is currently preparing to follow. He has not had a chance to properly develop a relationship with Willow and does have a desire to be in one place with all of his siblings.

2. Appearance

Basics

Of the Martel siblings, Owen has the most square, doggish face. His coat is covered in warm, comforting browns: one of the many traits that allows other Luperci to feel safer around him. He is also the largest of his siblings, actually weighing just about as much as the average wolf, standing as tall as one too. No one would ever mistake him for one, though, as his fur has a much different quality to it and his limbs are proportioned rather differently.
