Gunther is a horse owned by Linden Aatte. Originally brought north by the Boreas group, he has traveled far and passed many hands before becoming Linden's mount.

1. Appearance

Build: Gunther is a prime example of the classic characteristics of a destrier.
Features: A long scar along his throat, caused by an arrow.
Coloration:
- Primarily Copper, with Grain Brown found on his blaze, along his back and hindquarters. This same color forms socks on all feet save his front right, and splashes his belly.
- His hooves are all Zeus.
- His mane and tail are primarily Muddy Waters but highlighted with Double Splash White.
Gear:
- A leather hackamore.

2. Personality

Aggressive and incredibly well-trained, Gunther excels as a war-horse. He has since been able to relax in this position some, though he is very protective of "his" herd.

Large and powerful. He is also extremely fast and able to pivot remarkably well.
Reining and cutting come easily to Gunther, and though untested, he could act as a driving horse.

Gunther likes Linden and Walter -- he really likes Matilda.
Gunther dislikes geese and snakes.

6. History

Obtained in the Boreas Conflict by Max Klein, who killed his previous owner Vilis Holst.
The horse transferred into Rémy Lebeau's ownership. Recognizing he would never make use of the animal, Rémy donated him to the clan.
Vesper trades the horse to Linden Aatte in the late summer of 2013.
Linden uses Gunther during the Inferni-CdM War.
Gunther is bred to Vicira Tears' mare, Tigana, who gives birth to Riselka ?.
An unplanned coupling with Matilda leads to the birth of Hobb.
