Max Klein

Maximilian Klein (who went only by Max) was a previous member of Inferni. He participated in the Boreas Conflict and continued to serve Inferni faithfully until a freak accident caused both Max and Amnesty Lykoi to be lost at sea.

1.  Appearance

As he has aged, the combination of a steady diet and physical training has allowed for Max’s body to reach its full potential. It’s clear he takes after his father’s lineage, for he is larger and heavier than a coyote. The sharpness in his profile, long lean legs, and slightly oversized ears and teeth give away his dual-heritage.

Max sometimes has a “snaggletooth” look to him, where his top canines hang over past his lips. He explains this off as his “monster heritage”, and cites this whenever asked about his fur, size, or teeth.

2.  Personality

Max is strong-willed, but still very much a teenager. He’s unsure of himself around the opposite sex and brags constantly about his skills and talents while around older canines. His childhood habit of storytelling has grown into something more well-versed, though he tends to exaggerate greatly. When around anyone who strikes him as “bad”, Max tends to clam up and get very aggressive.

4.  History

Max's mother chased him away after he was weaned, wanting nothing to do with a child that resembled his rapist father. Emotionally scarred, Max used his imagination to help him cope with this. By the time he had made it to Inferni, he had all but forgotten the truth of his abandonment. Talitha de le Poer and her brother, Ezekiel, helped to ease him into the clan.

As Max grew, he developed something of a father-son relationship with Ezekiel, who was his primary mentor. He developed a lot of issues with himself as he reached adolesence, but focused them into his training. Rémy Lebeau became his hand-to-hand combat teacher and the two bonded over their shared genetics.

Once Ezekiel departed, however, Max's world fell apart. He spent more and more time looking for fights, often coming home bloodied and bruised. Some stern talks by Rémy started to reach him, but ultimately a friendship with Amnesty Lykoi pulled him out of his funk. Unfortunately, things were not destined to last. During the hurricane, a landslide caught the two off gaurd. Caught in the tide pull of the Bay of Fundy, the two were swept out to sea.

As of today, his present whereabouts are unknown.
