A refugee from the Old Kingdom, Martha Elanor, alongside her sister, Alma, are just trying to find their place in the world.
Born into the Clan Menel, Martha was raised believing in the dual-spirit god of Valleui and Valleuar, the sacred dichotomy of light and dark. Martha, the brighter of the two sisters, gravitated to the call of the Sunweaver and worked with falcon partners in her heyday, but the relative peace they had been born into was not destined to last forever.
The pair were only a year old when the raids began — and as Caledonia burned all around them, they had no choice but to flee, becoming separated from their family and clansmen in the chaos.
Years later, Martha and Alma have arrived in 'Souls after hearing whispers of their old packmates beginning anew in a strange land.

Martha is almost exclusively found in her Optime form, where at her full height she is a respectable 5'9 on account of her mixed doggish blood. She has folded ears and a smooth coat mottled with brown, cream, and off-white tones. Her skin and paw pads follow a similar theme, merled with black and pink. Perhaps her most catching feature is her heterochromatic gaze: her right eye burns a fierce amber while her left is a calming green. In her clan, this is a most favored trait, often thought to represent the dual twin-spirit of the gods, and it is a secret source of pride for the Menel-born. At her forearms and ankles there is light feathering. Martha boasts modest curves and a full chest, and she often forgoes clothing but occasionally dons a dark cloak when winter comes. Her blonde hair is long and curly, reaching the small of her back, and many times she enlists the help of her sister to weave it into all manner of braids and up-dos. |

Summary |
|
Martha is, by and large, unremarkable, and she tends to blend into the background. Willing to help where needed and always cordial to those that pass her by, the once-Sunweaver is painfully inoffensive, almost to the point that one has to wonder if she has anything more to her besides a friendly face. She keeps her beliefs to herself and frets over them in the quiet of her own home, not wishing to offend anyone in the great melting pot that is New Caledonia. While Martha is open about a great many things in her life, there are some bits and pieces she politely chooses to keep to herself; only her sister is privy to such secrets, and there is nothing wrong with that, of course. They all grieved the loss of the Old Kingdom in their own way, after all, and Martha believes she is allowed to process said grief in a way that best suits her. Nowadays, she believes she has grown stronger because of it — and, with any luck, the New Age of Caledonia will reign on triumphantly, far surpassing the feats of its predecessor. |
