1. Possible Character Names
This is, by no means, an exhaustive list. They're simply ideas for an adopter to look at if they can't think of a name they like for this character.
Male
- Árweorth: A name meaning "worthy of honor" in Old English, which JRR Tolkien used in his Lord of the Rings mythos for the Rohirric language.
- [M] Gray Wind: The name of the loyal direwolf companion of Robb Stark, a military commander and King of the North in GRR Martin's [M] A Song of Ice and Fire saga.
- Raumo: Meaning "the sound of a storm" or "thunder" in Quenya, a language created by JRR Tolkien for his Lord of the Rings mythos.
Female
- Caelerah: Meaning "beast of the winter arrow" and created using a D&D elf name generator.
- Janey: Diminutive of the name Jane, ultimately feminized and derived from the name John, which itself is derived from Hebrew and meaning "Yahweh is gracious".
- Steorra: Old English (and possibly a Rohirrim) version of the word/name Star.
Gender-Neutral
- Fánatál: A name meaning "white foot" in Quenya, a language created by JRR Tolkien for his Lord of the Rings mythos.
- Honor (also Honour): An English word derived from the Anglo-French onur or honur and ultimately derived from Latin honos or honor. It can refer to, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, "good name or public esteem"; "a showing of usually merited respect", "privilege"; "chastity, purity"; "a keen sense of ethical conduct" or "one's word given as a guarantee of performance", among various other definitions (please check the link)
- Simitharwyn: Meaning "musical friend of the north" and created using a D&D elf name generator.

- Up to the adopter, but this character does come with a raven- and storm-themed table for use in RP posts, if the adopter so wishes to use a table format: https://i.imgur.com/oNVTj2k.png
3. Personality
Kith, kin, and mateship: these are the only things that are permanent and matter within this world. All else can be worked with for a better world to survive in, this character believes, including the boundaries of a nation's law. It is the code of nature and the code of the individual that reigns supreme, and opportunity for oneself and those close to them can be found with the help of cunning and ruthless tactics. You'd better believe this character would do anything for their family or lover, even if others don't understand what kind of code of honor the character holds themselves to and how far the character is willing to go. Most importantly, however, all of this must be done with steeliness and strength - showing weakness will only bring death and the decay of one's station.
This character, if they had a D&D alignment, would be Lawful Evil with Neutral Evil leanings. From most to least importantly, they believe that they:
- Shall use the law to advance yourself and your comrades, for opportunities for all can be found within the law.
- Shall not aid the weak, for only the strongest survive
- Shall not aid criminals or those who protect the weak, for sometimes others are misguided and need help in the right direction
- Shall follow the law, for sometimes the most superior law is the law of one's own code
- Shall honor legitimate authority that promotes you and your comrades, because in a world that allows corruption, what constitutes "legitimate" authority is up for discussion (even if they are helpful)
In regards to their alignment and their behavior, they are, from most to least likely, to:
- Value lifelong commitment to a romantic partner, because love and mateship is a contract that binds lineage and soul.
- Does not seek positions of authority over others, for working in the background is more their style
- Obey all personal contracts, as some might be too weak to pay their end of the bargain
- Seek secure employment, as survival sometimes requires a bit of luck and the lucrative option
- Betray law-breaking family members for personal gain, for blood itself - and those adopted into the blood - is a contract between parent and child, family and extended family, ancestor and descendant. To family, they will always remain loyal

4. Relationships
This character is estranged from their mother, but very, very close to their father and their uncles. All of their female relatives have either a distant, estranged or friends-only type of relationship with them, and they possibly grew up with a heavily masculine or masculine outlook. They were part of a tight-knit couple with at least one former lover, or perhaps were in a close polyamorous relationship, but any relationships since then have either been distant, ended poorly, or ended up with this character and their lover estranged with one another. The adopter is free to retcon or adapt any of this as they see fit.
There are a number of open territories you can use as a place of origin for this character, or create backstory and ties to. Good examples for this particular character include Dublin, London, Portland, and Sobirat'sya. The on-board settlement of Amherst may also be a good option.
