1.1 January - Rohan Heartsong
The Spotlight Soul for this month is Rohan Heartsong! Though currently living as a loner with the rest of the Shingetsu Trading Company, Rohan began his life as the privileged son of one of New Caledonia's leaders. Unfortunately, his childhood was one touched by violence, as he was kidnapped during the Winter of Discontent by the Kingdom's enemies. Held hostage for several weeks, Rohan endured the trauma of war separated from his family. Though ultimately released, his adolescence was marred by this event and, in the year that followed, one with further loss. By the time of New Caledonia's disbandment Rohan and his family had resettled in Portland, though eager for adventure (and perhaps seeking his own escape) Rohan ultimately found himself resettling with others from his old pack. An entertainer, Rohan can most often by found at the New Moon Inn, though he's been visiting locals far and wide since his return.
