Dakota MacFarlane (duh·KOH·tuh muhk·FAAR·luhn) is a Loner, though she's got her sights on Del Cenere Gang.

Dakota "Kody" MacFarlane is the orphaned daughter to Morgan and Charlotte MacFarlane. She was born alongside her twin sister Arizona MacFarlane in late February and is very protective of her more timid counterpart. Unfortunately, at a young age the twins were eventually separated after the disappearance of their parents. Dakota was picked up by a travelling group of traders making their way through the American midwest.
Kody had heard by word from other traders of a community to the north made up of luperci not unlike herself; doggish, thick-skinned, and seeking some sort of redemption. The dusty misfits of Del Cenere Gang seemed like just the right and rowdy sort to seek out.

Dakota's appearance proves loyal to her dog genes. She is a hound with a pointed nose, broad muzzle, and forward-folded ears. She has an average build for her age and species, not too lithe or muscular. Kody carries herself confidently, assertive in personality as well as stance. She opts mostly for her optime form, but will switch to lupus when travelling without her horse or for hunting. Due to her secui form being quite barrel-chested she usually refrains from using the form.

While optime, Kody rarely style her hair. Instead, her dirty blonde locks are chopped short when it gets in her way, resulting in an uneven mess she tends to keep hidden underneath a tanned cowboy hat. Dakota is a tom-boy through and through, preferring to wear trousers and loose-fitting shirts over dresses or skirts. She can often be seen with an olive green bandana tied around her neck, something she may also use to keep her hair back with or without her hat.

She keeps on her person a carving knife that was passed down to her from one of the traders she'd travelled with, her only means aside from tooth and claw to fend against any danger. Otherwise, she has very little to her name, and often tries to steal what she needs to get by.

Kody is rough and unafraid to get her hands dirty. Growing up alongside many adoptive "brothers", she had learned to hold her own, steadfast in her opinions and unashamed. She is very vocal, making sure she is heard loud and clear when she is disapproving of something.

She is a scrappy youth, almost eager to get into fights, whether they be mere arguments or actual physical altercations; she is confrontational to a fault.

Kody tends to be materialistic, quickly growing attached to items and not easily willing to share. Due to the loss of her family, particularly her beloved sister, and the feelings of objectification among her trade group, she does not trust easily and may not open up without first forming a strong bond.

She is hardworking, learning young that she can withstand more hours at work than her elders and often picking up their slack for the sake of keeping busy. While she does still enjoy her moments to relax, she feels most at ease with a task at hand.

Due to her rough nature, she doesn't take well to chores that require dexterity and patience. Dakota would instead prefer to work with animals, be brought along for hunts, or work in trading.
