Synopsis

Rodeo is a sullen young coydog from what was once the Mexican-American border. He was born to a poor, young mother who didn't have the means to care for him and his many siblings. He learned early on to take care of himself because no one else was looking out for him. Rodeo is seemingly fearless; if anyone intimidates him, it doesn't show. When Harriet Courtright saved him from a bandit attack in September 2023, he joined Del Cenere at her recommendation. He begrudgingly allows her to be his escort out of Charmingtown. The two are working on a rocky, but symbiotic, alliance. (See OOC Assumptions)

1. Characteristics

1.1 Appearance

General Physical Appearance

Rodeo is an obvious coyote-dog hybrid. His coat is primarily black with a brindle pattern throughout. His coat, while coarse, is shorter than a full-blooded coyote’s due to his dog heritage. His eyes are oxblood in color. He has a wiry, rangy build as an adolescent that he’ll more or less grow into as he gets older. Right now, he is very lean. In Optime, his hair grows into a coarse, shaggy black mane that he keeps fairly short.

Likely due to his Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd heritage, Rodeo has an incredibly wide mouth with a strong bite force. His smile, while rare, can sometimes be off-putting as it stretches far wider than one would anticipate.

Summary: Surly, stubborn, temperamental, distrustful, immature

Rodeo spent much of his young life surviving on his own. As a result, he doesn't trust others easily and isn't the most friendly of canines. He's also resistant to authority and mouths off more than he should. He'll fight at the drop of a hat.
