Fidge is a small predatory bird. He is wise-cracking, but very loyal to his hunting partner, Rialu. "Fidge" is named after his odd, jittery flight pattern, and is short for fidget.

Mistfell Vale members may assume and reference the following without discussion/asking:

  • Seeing Fidge flying about the territory, hanging out with the local avian wildlife.
  • Seeing Fidge riding around on Rialu 's shoulder or hanging out around town.
  • Your character may also notice Fidge attack small rodents around town.

1.  Appearance

  • Size: ~20cm wingspan, about average
  • Features: Somewhat frazzled plumage and feathers. Wild-like appearance.
  • Coloration: Mostly orange with black blotches. Slate blue head and wing feathers. Beady birdie eyes.

2.  Personality

Fidge is somewhat chatty, and loves making odd jokes. People don't always get his jokes. They're bird jokes, okay? He is insecure, and hides his intelligence with silly banter and antics. However, he does love sharing stories, as well as being friendly with other, more socially-confident birds.

Fidge is a skilled hunter of all small prey, and loves making catches, even if it's just to impress his master.

2.1  Skills & Abilities

  • As of right now, Fidge is not capable of much High Speech.
  • Fidge, despite his odd disability, is capable of quick, if sporadic flying which helps when trying to keep up with faster prey, or just for dive-bombing. You know how it is.

Along with scouting, and of course snatching up small prey and/or objects

2.2  Likes & Dislikes

  • Likes: Rialu , Virue, playing games, making jokes, scouting, hunting, treats.
  • Dislikes: Larger birds, threats to Virue, negativity.

3.  History

  • Flew around 'Souls territory for a while as a young birb
  • Met Rialu while she was shouting in the forest, made a few jokes, now they frands
  • Rialu began training him as her hunting bird as a distraction from Virue's absence after he was attacked in September of 2017
