1.  Appearance

The noble elegance of borzoi blood is stiffened by coyote and Irish Wolfhound - the emaciated grace is instead filled in by slender limbs and wiry muscle, making him an exaggeratedly lean figure at 7'2. He has little of the heavy feathering a wolfhound ancestry suggests, and the compact covering of woolly hairs is no longer than a coyotes fur - but the volume of hair at his chest and belly easily attests a borzoi heritage. Though slender and seemingly lacking in strength, his limbs are decorated with a menagerie of tell-tale lines, both the sinuous furrows of muscle and the silvered trails of old scars. Tapering fingers are long and dexterous, almost womanly delicate in quality, but even they assert his hardiness in sporting pads well-worn from forest labor. His hair is long by nature, not by choice. He has since given up on trimming the coppery brown locks, and allows his hair to grow as it chooses down to his shoulders, a simple part in the middle just barely keeping the woolly curls out of his eyes.

1.1  Coloration

A fawn base sports a black cape over a fiery bronze dorsal stripe, a marking that encompasses much of his back and tail. Tapering into a long roman profile, his face is covered in a pure white mask that extends from forehead down and spans from cheek to cheek, marred only by a brown strap banded around his lower jaw. A scowl seems to be permanently etched into his already long face. The white trails from his chin all the way to the base of his tail. His eyes are a soft persian orange, flecked and heavily pigmented at the outer iris by a ring of flame%.

Describe Lupus form. Don't forget imperial and metric (Google does this for you) sizes because not everyone can read one or the other.

Describe Secui form.

Describe Optime form. In Optime form, some characters choose to style their hair -- if this is the case, how does your character usually wear it?

1.3  Other

  • Piercings: None, but maybe someday soon.
  • Tattoos: One -- a skull covering the big chest scar.
  • Scars:
    • his hands are covered in light scarring
    • claw marks across his right shoulder
    • a jagged scar that winds from the short hair of his cheek to under his jaw

If they have a particular style or aim for their accessories -- e.g., a short Luperci wearing things to draw attention away from their height -- write about it here plz.

A simple camel colored tunic that just barely manages to hang onto his lanky shoulders, though his heavy chest feathering fills it out a good deal. A cord secures it to his waist, and he totes his fathers stolen axe.

2.  Personality

Leonidas values life to a point most would think is ridiculous. He holds it in such high esteem that he limits himself to eating only the weakest of animals, if there are none available, he simply lives off of the edible vegetation. Deeply in touch with nature since birth, he feels it is his duty to immerse himself in it, his reason for never forsaking it for a city or pack. The presence of others makes him uneasy, he has little understanding when it come to interpreting intentions, and the secluded simplicity the forest offers is like a haven to him. His bristling gruffness comes from personal insecurities, as he feels there is no better barrier to erect between himself and other canines. It is all a charade however, and his tender heart often quails when he is engaged in conversation. When it comes to any other canines outside of family, Leonidas usually has no idea what to do, and wishes in that instant to be alone.

He is admittedly rather close minded when it comes to wolves, or anyone of wolf heritage. The hybrid views them as beasts that historically dominated by being tyrants over other creatures, and that they are naturally more barbaric than other "civilized" species. He isn't particularly fond of his coyote blood, but still recognizes it as being superior to that of a wolf. Regardless of species, gender, or creed, he makes an honest attempt to greet all with the same level of interest, but try as he might to be patient, there are few actions that won't send him into a stuttering and confused rage. His efforts to force back his nature have becoming increasingly more passionate, and his hermit like seclusion isn't as strictly maintained.

2.1  Demeanor

  • Pessimist, he has a general belief that others are out there to do him harm.
  • Extreme Introvert
  • Fear aggression

  • Fears: Failure, mockery, powerlessness
  • Motivations: finding his place
  • Traits: Anxious, brusque, distrusting, hostile
  • Alignment: True neutral

2.2  Ideals

Horses. His horse. That's honestly it :I

  • Species: He thinks that wolves are dumb. And mean. Mostly just mean.
  • Non-Luperci: He doesn't care.
  • Gender: Women make him nervous, though he firmly believes that men are superior as a natural law of nature.
  • Color: He doesn't care.
  • Sexuality: He doesn't care.
  • Age: He doesn't care.

He'll occasionally consume alcohol without being coaxed, but otherwise will only partake of substances if he feels it's a social obligation.

Leonidas holds very a loose belief in the basic karmic system.

3.  Relationships

3.1  Key Relations

  • Characters: Here is where you might describe especially important family members (e.g., if your character has a close, competitive relationship with a sibling, describe it here) or friendships or whatever else.

3.2  Family: Families, Families, and Families

  • Mother: Characters
  • Father: Characters
  • Siblings: Characters
  • Extended: Here is where you might describe their extended family, if necessary. This template is formatted to include only nuclear family -- why repeat all of a character's possible relations when it's a list of 100+ characters in some instances? :| Easier to link to family pages, says Sie.

3.3  Minor Relations

  • You might want to just keep a simple list of characters your character has encountered, or you might want to describe them, or whatever.

3.4  Former Relations

  • Dead and inactive characters should go here.

4.  Interaction

6.  History

Born in a litter of 8, he felt like he wasn't getting attention either way, and so he left. Before he left, he stole his fathers axe, bow (promptly broken by accident and lack of skill), horse, and accordion, and he has been wandering Nova Scotia as of October 2012.

6.1  Timeline

  • Month: This section is most useful for detailing what happened before your character came to 'Souls, since that is not included in the lower thread archive section. Some players choose to continue their timeline history with important events from the thread archive while other players are content to use this section solely as a "before 'Souls" section.
