Juleo is the adopted son of unknown parents. He is rumored to be a Rivera, but no on is quite for certain on that. Juleo was renamed Juleo del Bosque when taken into the family by a lady named Abita. With nothing but sharp teeth and a fiesty attitude, he took quickly to their lifestyles. Juleo is often seen with the ashen mark on his chest and face, and a joint and/or cigarette in his mouth.

1.  Lifestyle

1.1  Speech

Juleo has a heavy Texan accent, with a twang of New Mexican whenever he is drunk, or angry. He tends to speak very fast, and uses the terms "ma'am" when speaking to women and "sir" when speaking to mean. Juleo has a bit of a "lisp" of which he slurs into his words, making his Texan accent sometimes hard to understand. He is a flirt, and flirts with everyone, especially pretty blonde women.

1.2  Abilities

Strengths

Strength

Juleo learned how to read and write from a pretty little lady, whom he forgot the name of, in Ceniza Valley. He learned how to speak Spanish as his first language from Abita and then later learned English from a few others in the del Bosque family. Juleo speaks English and Spanish fluently and very well. Juleo learned how to rope cattle and ride horses via the Casales family as he helped them with their ranch as work. Juleo learned how to rope in Cenzia Valley from Mateo, his child hood friend, whom was a year older than him. Juleo is still learning and practicing his skill of roping, but is learning day in and day out, since he was around 6 months he has been learning these skills above.

Leo learned how to properly cut down cannabis plants and "weed" them of the seeds and stems from an old hippy in the pack of the Valley when he was 6 months.

Weaknesses

Weakness

Often times enjoys smoking marijuana a little too much.

1.3  Residence

Character is currently residing in 'Souls.

Previously he was in Palisade and was taken in by the Courtright family and became fast friends with Peony Braithwaite and Hosea Courtright.

1.4  NPCs

Harriet

Harriet is a four year old mare, whom he was given by his "mother" and sticks by his side no matter what. She is very moody, and often times, is stealing apples or carrots from other Lupreci. Harriet only ever "listens" to Juleo. Anyone else she either has a snort or a huff for.

2.1  Forms

Lupus

Seen in his Lupus form, he is tall and long-legged, resembling a massive coyote. Often times he uses the Lupus form to make quick runs or for engaging in songs, and bonding with others.

Secui

Secui form is bulky and large, leaving his hair poking out in odd blonde patterns on the top of his head and his mane.

Optime

Optime form he is most seen in, having great arm-muscle from constant working out, he never wear clothes, except maybe an occasion loin-cloth. He wears his hair shoulder length and shaggy, often-times greasing it back with salve.

2.2  Build & Species

Very tall he resembles a wolf in his bulkiness, in Optime and in his coloration he resembles the Husky/wolf heritage with Agouti. In his Lupus form his tall lanky legs resemble the coyote in him. He is very fit, and "buff" often times seen working on fences or working his hands, they're very calloused and scarred.

He has a coyote muzzle through and through and a very "coyote" grin, as normal.

2.3  Coloration & Fur

Coloration -- many players use Name That Color to help themselves with coloration. If you'd like to show exact colors, Woody Brown is an example for you. If your character has a varied pattern/coat, you can discuss it here. Don't forget to mention their eye color, either.

Regarding their fur -- is it thick or thin? Is the fur wiry or smooth, short or long, wavy or straight?

2.4  Modifications

  • Scars:
    • Several scars on his hands and wrist, inflicted from woodworking, working with horses, and hand-to-hand battles.
  • Tattoos:
    • n/a
  • Piercings:
    • One wooden piercing on his right ear.
  • Other:
    • Ashen markings on his fur, making him appear very "ashy" already.

2.5  Accessories

  • A single wooden earring.

3.  Personality

Juleo is unpredictable. Often times he causes trouble where ever he goes. Leo has a sweet side, but in all honesty, uses his dashing good looks to his advantage. He follows his whims, and is an individualist first and last. Leo doesn't go out of his way to prtect others' freedoms, but will go out of his way to make sure he is well taken care of. "He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy."

The commandments he follows: 1. You shall lie to promote your freedom. 2. You shall not kill the innocent. 3. You shall help the needy if such action promotes your freedom. 4. You shall honor no authority above yourself. 5. You shall break the law whenever convenient. 6. You shall not betray others unless your life is in jeopardy. 7. You shall pursue pleasure. 8. You shall promote unlimited freedom for yourself.

Leo is a very handsy man, he likes pleasure and he LOVES to give pleasure. To everyone, and anyone. He is mainly a woman's man, but is not very likely to be tied down to any one female. He will not deny a male in private but in public he will.

Juleo is all about power. Whatever he can do to gain the upper hand without making himself seem like a complete asshole, he will.

3.1  Demeanor

Juleo is a very kind character from the outside. He often times will never disrespect someone in front of others, and keeps that to only in private. He likes to maintain his image, and is very much so "a ladies man".

Never appearing as though he wishes harm to others, even if he does, he will smooth talk his way out of whatever he gets himself into.

3.2  Outlook

Very optomistic, and very dominant. He tends to hold himself higher than others.

3.3  Ideals

Biases

Big Bias

A big bias goes here, discussed in paragraph form

Other Biases

  • Species: he is very non-biased against anyone who isn't coyote.
  • Non-Luperci: Believes non-lupreci should be given the gift as long as they're a coyote or coyote hybrid.
  • Human Behaviors: He is very non-humanized, and doesn't believe in wearing clothes.

Sexuality

His is highly heterosexual with homosexual tendacies.

Substances

He wants to try everything once. He is a continued tobacco and cannabis user, as well as alcohol user.

Spirituality

Very much so believes in the "fire" as a God. Based entirely off the Ceniza Valley culture and beliefs. "The Cenizans believe the coyote is a timeless, honorable creature -- one who has adapted throughout the span of time using its wit and luck, competing with wolves and eking out a living in the harsh desert forests. This did not change until the time of the Luperci, which the coyotes believe were a gift from humans to dogs -- who, in turn, gifted the virus to the coyotes. Some (especially of high dog content) say that it was a selfless gift, while most believe that the coyotes helped the dogs adapt to the new world by hunting and teaching them tricks in exchange for the virus. Because of this, the coyotes were able to discover the magic of fire.

Deities- There is no all-powerful deity among the coyotes -- the only gods are wild gods, and fire is one of them. Fire is worshiped because it does not exist "naturally" in the world; one cannot stumble across it like water or grass, but it's instead created through acts of nature (like storms) or by hand. The coyotes believe that fire exists in another world and comes to this one to help or hurt; they often pray while starting their fires because the very act is asking fire to come into the world to help them.

There are other "wild gods" in Ceniza, so named because they don't bow to the coyotes' whim. Gods are often everyday things, like wind and rain, or small and specific phenomena like rocks that trip prey or sicknesses that steal the lives of babies. None is worshiped like fire, though the Cenizans will speak of these "gods" as personified entities: "The rain did not want to fall today," or "The wind wishes us a good hunt; he's blowing the right way."

Symbols Fire: A powerful symbol that encompasses the religion; fire is seen as divine, almost a creature in of itself -- mystical, conjured from another world, something benevolent but dangerous in the wrong hands. Ash: The remains of fire and burning, ash is symbolic of the past and appearances. Most coyotes mark their bodies with ash regularly. Stripes: Streaks are often worn around the face, or banded around the hands, bringing good luck -- often said to bring oneself closer to the wild. Pawprints: Pawprints or hand prints represent community, as they usually need to be applied by another. Marking oneself with their own paws is considered ill luck. Scars: Coyotes rub ash into their scars to darken them, drawing attention to them -- whether a past mistake that one will learn from, or a badge of victory. Bones, Horn: Prey bones or cattle horn are often used both for decoration and divination, and are symbolic of the link between the real world and the divine."

Specific Beliefs

  • Believes that coyotes should be worshipped, among all else.

5.  History

Growing up in the Valley for two years, he took off and went to Palisade where he was taken in by the Courtright family. Given shelter and given a will to do things he wanted to, such as trading and merchanting. Taking to Hosea and to the Braithwaite girls, of which he highly flirted with them all, he learned a lot about trading for the six months he was there.

Turning two and a half years old, he left Palisade and is heading towards Del Cenere Gang where rumor has it, his "friends" are going. He only wants to go because he believes that something is going on, and he doesn't know how to mind his own business. Juleo brought a whole heck of a bunch of canabis with him on his journey and tobacco, so it isn't uncommon to see him smoking it with his little hand-made wood pipe, or "rolling" a joint.
