Yorshka (NPC of [[Characters/Anri of Soul]])

Yorshka is the most beautiful alpaca you'll ever see. And the meanest.

1.  Appearance

Yorshka is your typical "teddy-bear" kind of alpaca. It is very large for its species, and this effect is magnified by its usually unsheared form. It sports thick, soft chocolatey fleece, and it rounds off its face in a lovely way. Ebony glossy eyes twinkle deep within the silky masses of wool, and it dons the traditional alpaca smile.

2.  Personality

Yorshka is as pretty as it is mean. Whilst very clever for its species, what it makes up for in intelligence is overshadowed by its ill-natured demeanor. Yorshka is incredibly stubborn, and its mood can be soured by anything and nothing. When placed with other animals, it will typically attempt to boss all forms and sizes around. If anyone but Gwyndolin attempts to lead or force Yorshka to follow, it will sit down and refuse to move. The only other creature it is openly affectionate to is Gwyndolin.

2.1  Skills & Abilities Uniquely intelligent for its species. Understands simple Russian commands and words and some hand-signs. Sometimes adopts the heart of a guard dog, and has been seen to attack creatures that are hostile to itself or its party.

2.2  Likes & Dislikes Loves Gwyndolin. Likes Sif and often Anri. Dislikes larger animals. Dislikes being sheared. Dislikes everything REFUSES to be led by anyone but Gwyndolin.

3.  History

Yorshka was born and bred on an alpaca farm southeast of Moscow. Due to her genes, high grade quality fleece and large size she was early selected as a breeding female. However, due to its terrible temperament and an especially nasty episode where Yorshka bullied and harassed the prime breeding male alpaca of the herd, she was sold for a pittance to a traveling merchant.

The sour alpaca changed a good handful of owners over next few years and found for the first time a fellow individual from her species that it felt some kind of kindship with when she came into the hands of a farmer. A young Russian hybrid traded for the young ivory male alpaca in Moscow, mid-2017, and Yorshka served as an undesirable accessory to the deal, going wherever its bonded companion went.

Anri had only intended to acquire one alpaca while she traveled the Russian countryside with her parents, but eventually accepted that the two herd animals was a package deal. The hybrid brought them across the sea to Portland, then to the lands of 'Souls early 2018.
