The Order The Order is a high functioning group of warriors focused on preserving a sense of justice. Where they once lived in a land of chaos, they now strive to protect those in need. They provide escort, assassination, patrol, mercenary, execution, espionage, rescue, and retrieval services in exchange for goods and services to support themselves as loners.

History

Before Kentaro waged war on Anathema, "The Order" was known as "The Keshi". They originated as means to provide structure to an otherwise chaotic pack and help steer it towards light. When Kentaro's forces attacked, The Keshi had no choice but to abandon their plans for Anathema. Upon the death of Kentaro, The Keshi was renamed their group, "The Order", to better reflect their promise to abandon everything Anathema stood for and strive for good.

As of now, they are slowly building their forces and focusing on outreach to packs, other loner groups, and loners in need of their services, or those willing to support their cause.

Territory

The Order's base camp is located in the Moonstone Lakes area, but they often travel so their services are equally available to everyone. Their camp is marked by Eagle Tower, which they have taken up residence in. The tower is old, but well buil, reaching up past the trees and to the sky. The first few floors of the tower are usable and The Order utilizes the building to survey the surrounding land. The tower also serves to house The Order's initiates and Bel's furnace. Proven members camp outside the tower to help keep their initiates safe, often using flames from Bel's furnace to light a separate fire.

Culture

Laws

  • Performing duties while under the influence is prohibited.
  • Injured and sick warriors are to be brought back to base for examination by a medic.
  • Brothers and Sisters of The Order are discouraged from turning blades on one another.
  • Crimes within The Order(Vandalism, Theft, Murder, Exploitation, Etc.) are expressly prohibited. However, crimes committed against those deemed guilty, hold no consequence. (Example; Stealing from another thief is not a punishable offence)
  • On high value missions, all tactics are permitted so long as no innocent lives are at stake.
  • Initiates are to follow orders given by Proven members, as long as they're within reason.

Customs

Traditions

  • Bel's Furnace: After finishing their oath, initiates will be gifted a bone dagger. This dagger is what new members will use to cut their palms and allow the blood to drizzle into the flames they had knelt before. This fire will unify the blood of all who had and will take the oath. It is a promise to follow The Order's laws and uphold peace.
