Hey! I'm Owl and every so often I come up with some characters or what not and I like to allow them to get out there and stretch their fictional legs. I am generally very loose about my adoptables and am open to changes for many of them, even strict characters given they are reasonable. I like making diverse backstories and characters so keep an eye out!
I am also the founder of the Tibalt family and there will certainly be Yorkshire pups originating from there!
Thanks to Sie from whom I snatched much of the coding from. c;
1. Contract Terms
Some characters are harder to change than others, or even impossible, while others just provide a skeleton for potential adopters to build from! Here are my specific tags:
- Relaxed: This adoptable is on pretty easy terms, a lot can be changed if desired and I won't be very picky in choosing an adopter.
- Moderate: I've had this adoptable awhile or I'm willing to change some things, other parts of the character I'd prefer to stay the same. I will be slightly more selective in picking an adopter.
- Strict: This adoptable is rigid in its terms and very little can be changed, or at all. This is usually reserved to young of existing characters or future plot intensive characters. I will want a solid roleplayer that has had experience beforehand.
2. Current Adoptables
2.1 On-Board
None atm!
2.2 Off-Board
Many, will add later.
3. Adoption Information
3.1 Pre-Adoption Changes
3.2 Post-Adoption Development
- Generally, you do not need my permission to do things with an adoptable. Develop your character how you want. :3
- For no characters am I looking to control every little aspect of our characters' interactions. For some characters I may have stricter requirements about what I want out of them plot and thread-wise.
For Stricter Characters
Some specific characters may have more stringent terms! I understand that character development just happens sometimes, but if it's your plan from the get-go to take a character a different direction than I envisioned, let me know beforehand. E.g., if you're applying for one of my "darker" characters and you plan to take them in a more light-hearted direction from their outset, including edits to their history to make them less dark -- you should tell me about it when you apply!
3.3 Re-Adoption
About
I work hard to make my adoptables shiny -- some of them come with a lot of junk! I also try to put thought into their appearances and biographies. So, in cases where a player doesn't stick around very long, I'm liable to find a new player. Generally, if you've adopted a character from me and you've dropped them or disappeared, please don't be terribly surprised if I find a new player. D;
Specific TermsI may choose to re-adopt the character if you have:

4. Interested?
Contact me by one of the two provided methods -- please do not IM/chat me regarding adoptions. Though, I'm happy to chat about the character in regards to pre-adoption changes via that method. Though, in the initial private message/E-mail, please include:
- Your preferred nickname:
- Character:
- Why the character interests you: No need to be overly wordy here -- a simple explanation will do!
- A RP or other writing sample (e.g., from a previous game): Not necessary if you currently play at 'Souls.
- Any plots or ideas you've gotten for the character: OPTIONAL!
- Have you read, understood, and agree to the contract terms on my adoption page as well as the individual contract terms for this character?:
4.1 Forewarning
I greatly appreciate adopters who are patient, strong and active roleplayers, etc. I may not adopt to players who:
- Constantly pick up, drop, and switch characters.
- Who constantly ask for adoptables, then fail to join with the adoptable.
- Show severe streaks of inactivity, constant absenteeism, etc.
- Are not going to join with the adoptable as soon as possible.
- Have adopted from me before, only to have the situation go awry in some way.
Don't be intimidated -- it's just a warning. :) If you're interested, ask anyway -- the worst that will happen is a no, after all! I'm pickier about some characters than others -- for example, Petr Dubov, a character who I've been trying to have adopted for a long time and who is not integral to my roleplay or plots, is pretty much open season, whereas I might be considerably more selective in considering the player of a Tibalt family member. ;D
