Salsola provides for members to earn points and eventually, shiny, shiny prizes. Please pay careful attention to the submission and claiming information. c;

1. Rules

Game Points must be claimed while the character is active in Salsola, otherwise, they are forfeit. Points on unclaimed threads/posts, OOC activities, etc. cannot be retroactively claimed after the character has been fallen inactive due to being dropped or NPC'd, or has left the pack.
Word Count must be clearly notated on the post.
Point claims must be clearly and easily notated on what is being claimed.
Points cannot be claimed on posts made before one is officially accepted into Salsola (i.e. posts made before you receive your official Salsola stamp of approval to your Joiner thread!)
Transfers: Game points transfers to or from Salsola requires permission of Salsola leaders and the transferring pack's leaders.
Point Submission:
- Members are not to PM leaders or the OOC account to claim points!
- When submitting points, please use the form provided for you in our Maintenance thread. Please also refer to this thread for specific information on submitting Game points and transfer requests.
- If you play multiple Salsola characters, you may keep points together or separated by character, whichever is easiest for you -- we're not picky!

2. Game Activities

2.1 Monthly Top Poster

Points are awarded to the highest three cumulative post counts between activity checks. Rules If you play multiple characters within Salsola, only one of your characters is eligible for the top poster activity in a given month. E.g., Bob plays Jackal and Coyote in Salsola — even if Jackal and Coyote are the highest and second highest posters, Bob is only eligible as Jackal. Points are only awarded towards higher point category. Leadership abstains from collecting Top Poster points — only regular members are eligible. Monthly Top Poster points are automatically applied during the Rank Shuffle at the beginning of the month. You do not need to claim them! If we forget though, do feel free to contact Leadership to politely remind us!

15	Highest cumulative post count within a given month.
10	Second highest cumulative post count within a given month.
5	Third highest cumulative post count within a given month.

2.2 OOC Activity Points

Points	Activity
3	300+ word post
4	400+ word post ...and so on per additional 100 words met. (ex. 1,245 WC = 12 points)
5	Submit an acceptable Cueponi Riddle.
10	Update Salsola’s History or Salsola Wiki.
75	Adopt an Open Character and join Salsola.

2.3 IC Activity Points

Points	Activity
5	Complete a thread featuring Salsola Culture, Laws, or Traditions. For example, your characters perform a ritual or have a deep discussion on an aspect of our culture. NOTE: The thread must involve at least one (1)* other played Salsolan*
	Add an item to Salsola's Storage or emergency stores, a communal animal to the Stables, or a new plant species to the Garden. You don't need to have an IC thread to claim these points. NOTE: For communal animal additions, small animals (e.g., rats, rabbits, cats, etc.) may only be counted 2 times, regardless of total number. So, for example, a character adding 10 rats to Salsola's stables would only receive 10 points.
	Start an AW thread in the neutral territories
	Obtain your first Job
	Have a thread that uses or features your character's Job OR Helps another character earn a Job

10	Start an AW thread on Salsola's territory
	Start or join a non-mandatory pack activity thread NOTE: The thread must involve at least three (3) other Salsolans (the majority should be played characters, however) and involve an activity (non-mandatory) for Salsola — e.g., participating in a hunt, Projects or Thread Prompt
	Add yourself or your NPC to our Directory, or make a substantial update (adding a new skill, updating trade information, ranking up a few skills, etc. — not just a single, small update) to your directory entries.
	Use a Pack NPC in a thread NOTE: Claimable only twice per month. The NPC needs to actually be in the thread. A single, passing mention does not count!
	Obtain your second Job

25	Play the Preybot for a Salsola-relevant thread — e.g., if the Sotto Cappo ranks dispatch a scout to dispose of a threat, you play the Loner threat via Preybot
	Undergo the Cotona ritual and receive the pack mark via at least one IC thread
	Obtain your third Job

50	Recruit a character to Salsola with at least two IC threads. NOTE: The threads may be pre-recruitment convincing or post-joining initiation and cultural introductions

75	Organize a Pack Project
	Organize a Pack Activity (ex. a festival or play, a large, pack-wide party, etc.) NOTE: You* should be the one to direct this thread or activity. E.g., organizing members, PMing them, starting threads, etc. The activity must:* Involve at least three (3)* Salsolans and one outsider* OR involve four (4) Salsolans. Note that a majority of the Salsolans should be played characters. Take place over at least two (2)* threads* Have a pack activity that you want to make official and leadership-approved? Send a PM to the OOC Account!

100	Organize a Pack Plot that is endorsed by Leadership. (Plots can be mini-plots, short plots, or long plots) NOTE: Though Leadership will help you, they will not run the plot. You should be the one to primarily direct this plot. E.g., organizing members, PMing them, starting threads, etc. The plot must: Involve at least five (5)* Salsola members and one outsider* OR involve six (6) Salsola members. Note that a majority of the Salsolans should be played characters. Take place over at least four (4)* threads* Have a pack plot that you want to make official and leadership-approved? Send a PM to the OOC Account!

3. Prizes

50	Claim a residence in the Ruins. See Residence policies.
100	Transfer or edit an existing custom title on your Salsola character account OR transfer an existing custom icon from your Salsola character account (remember: custom icons can't be edited, ever).
100	Temporary custom one-word title, Salsola color fade, bold, for three months.
200	Temporary custom title, Salsola color fade, bold, for three months.
400	Permanent Salsolan ring icon with a custom hover.
500	Permanent custom title, any color or fade.
500	Permanent custom icon.
2,500	Custom art by Songbird.
