We love when an adoptable character catches your attention! We have both New Caledonians (of which you will need to contact their owners listed below) and Old Caledonians.

Pack-owned adoptables have loose contract terms — mostly being that, should you disappear, the character will be reclaimed by the pack after 2 months. Adoptables with extensive play (>50 posts, >6 months) will be retired and sent to the Citadel. Any artwork, titles, or icons purchased for the adoptable will be given back to the original purchaser unless other arrangements are made. Our characters are meant to be just vague enough so as to leave room for your imagination to flourish!

Mirwen Cirith

Summary

Born to clan Aegas, younger sister of Maethriel, Mirwen is known for her quick hands and somber expression. Mirwen is slighter than her sister but just as dedicated to her work. She and her sister are all that is left of their branch of the Ciriths, and Mirwen often questions her place in New Caledonia. She has scarred hands from burning herself in a forge as a child and often wears long gloves to hide this fact. She is quiet but dutiful and has a lovely singing voice.

Inuven Bata

Summary

Born to clan Taur, Inuven fought valiantly against their foes during the great war as a Commander. He walks with a slight limp now, but this does not stop him from spending as much time as possible in the forest. Inuven was in love with a woman from Lorn who was killed before they could confess their love to one another. Inuven has long, inky black hair that he wears unbound and has eyes the color of sapphires. Inuven Bata was Iomair's best friend prior to the war.

Tilwindea Virthana

Summary

Tilwindea Virthana is a young woman from the Menel Clan of Old Caledonia. A girl with keen ambition as an adventurer. She left Old Caledonia before it was razed by war and has found herself in New Caledonia as a newcomer. As a member of Menel she travels with an eagle and her horse, and is often found joyously speaking to other travelers. An eternal optimist, Tilwindea has not yet felt the disastrous effects of war, and this leaves her a tad naïve on the world at large.

Saelind Fir-Chlis

Summary

Saelind is the older, wiser, calmer sister of Arran Fir-Chlis. She also escaped the destruction of Old Caledonia and was separated from everyone else in the confusion. They're of the Menel clan and the family traditionally has guarded and cared for livestock, however Saelind can have other interests and skills as well!

Summary

Meril is the son of Saga D'Angelo and Arran Fir-Chlis, born alongside his brother Lossë in early December of 2020. While his existence was not planned nor discussed, he was never the less welcomed into both sides of his family with open arms. Will he be stoic and headstrong like his mother? Or a down-to-earth farmboy like his father? Or maybe even his energetic blood-brother will have some influence on him?

Anisat

Summary

Anisat is the culmination of a wistful heart and a bohemian inspiration. Her family always hoped for a daughter who would eventually join the Family business, but of course fate intervened and somehow Anisat emerged independent and eager to prove herself. The young woman can be unintentionally terse and can sometimes struggle with understanding high-brow humor. This frustrates her, as all she wishes is to be understood or ‘in on the game’ – something that her brothers took great joy in holding over her head. Despite seeking out others, she is deeply afraid of commitment and can prove a flighty creature when things look too serious.

She comes from a large family and has learnt how to deal with different personality types because of this. She is more like her Mother than she would like to admit and enjoys tasks that fill her with nostalgia, such as cooking and weaving. Her strongest skills involve her staff and jewelry making – both passed on to her from her family. Anisat can have a sharp tongue, but enjoys companionship in all forms, whether it be romantic or platonic. When caught off guard she laughs deeply and loudly!

People from the plains give their hearts freely, but can prove difficult to pin down.

Pipra

Summary

Younger sister to Anisat, Pipra is confident, loud, and unafraid to meet the world with a mouthful of questions. As a young woman, she is keen to prove to herself that she is capable on her own. This can make her stubborn and unrelenting when she sets a goal for herself to accomplish – such as following after Anisat in an effort to claim some adventure for herself. Having never been taught to read or write, Pipra is intrigued by the spoken word. She is an astute actress with a beautiful singing voice – and she has the gift of perfect pitch. Her curse is that she has terrible stage fright.

When backed into a corner Pipra can unleash quite a temper, though it is the sort that fizzles out soon after its release. Now on her own, she is intrigued by cursing, and enjoys throwing out the occasional curse as if to prove to her Mother that she will not in fact be smote down with lightning. This has quickly become one of her favorite aspects of living alone.

The young coy-dog has managed to make it this far using her keen wit, but despite her best intentions, she misses her family terribly. Going it alone is quite the change from being surrounded by a family that is larger than life.

Summary

Vinitharya, alongside two siblings, is born in the Citadel following a tumultuous period of war in New Caledonia proper. She is the child of two fierce warriors, Amon and Indis, who have quietly tended to their budding relationship, at first in the Realm, though their love truly blossomed after relocating to Portland. Her parents show their love in subtle, unassuming ways, and the pups become accustomed to the hustle-and-bustle of the portside city as they grow into young adulthood.

As attached as Vinitharya is to the Citadel, however, soon the yearning to see the Realm with her own eyes becomes too much to bear; so, her mother and father set up her up as a ward to an elder luperci to keep an eye on him — High King Iomair, their grandfather, and Isiltári Fennore, a woman Amon has served since his initial arrival into 'Souls.
