Housing within Casa di Cavalieri is controlled. New members should request a room in the Courthouse, which is the main building within Fort Kingsbury. New Recruits and our budding Cadets share the basement of the Courthouse until they have earned a co-rank and are ranked Officers. Members ranked Officer or higher have the privilege of choosing where they live, be that in the courthouse, in one of the twelve houses within Fort Kingsbury, in an apartment above a shop/workspace related to their co-rank, or building their own home within the pack lands. Lower-ranked members (puppies through Cadets) may live with their mate or parents/guardians outside of the Courthouse.

Please keep your character's housing location updated on this page. If you need help updating your information please post in Casa pack maintenance.

1.  Courthouse

Rooms in the Courthouse are open for all members of all ranks, but it is encouraged that members of Officer rank or higher move into a house or shop. For a map of rooms please see Courthouse.

Sole --
  • Large bed covered in various furs- has been untouched for a long time
  • Sitting area with an old white comfy chair
  • Fire place near sitting area
  • Multiple bookshelves
Jazper, Alistair, Lyris
War Lord Teagan Stryder Used strictly as an office. Teagan's personal living space is her house in the Fort.
  • Clean, neat, and organized, everything has its place. The room has a large wooden desk with several bookshelves all pushed up directly against the wall behind it. There is a chair for the desk, two chairs that sit opposite of the desk, and a sofa lines the wall that has the room's window. A long, large table is pressed up against the opposite wall (the one that is shared with the outside hallway). On this same wall, there are various maps of the pack's territory as well as areas known beyond it and a rough estimation of the location of other packs. Several weapons racks can be found lined against the remaining wall space, and various weapons, shields, or armors can be found throughout the room in general.

Aldora uses this room strictly as an office. Her personal living space is in the house she shares with her father. However, she will often sleep here if she wants extra privacy.

Labor Head Honrin Wolfe-Denahlii
  • A long, old wooden desk and chair occupies one edge of the room.

Lyris, Luca
Chief Cleric Veri Secanti

Veri uses this room strictly as her office/additional medicinal storage. Her personal living space is her house in the Fort where she lives with Rurik and her various children.

  • Various bookshelves line the walls for herbal storage, both dried and fresh, some poisons are kept here as well so newer Healers don't mistake it for medicine.
  • Two cots are pushed against the wall, used for extremely sick patients who might need to be quarantined. On this same wall is also a chaise lounge couch.
  • A desk sits next to the window for natural light during the day, facing the door with two chairs for guests and one for herself. On it, she keeps track of notes for what herbs they have in store and what the farmer should have in production. Also, this is where she keeps notes on the expertise level of any pack healers, and how many they currently have in training compared to those who hold the Medic corank.

HOUSE Occupant Description Former Occupant(s)

West Side

H1 Luca, Myra, Remus, Nora

Luca and Lyris' House is a fixer upper in progress since Luca came into possession of it January 2015. Inside is a rough wooden floor and white walls. The house consists of only one floor including: a large living room, small kitchen, small bathroom, master bedroom, and one additional bedroom with two twin-sized mattresses. (Floor Plan)

Lyris, Arlen, Indi, Teagan
H2 Cedric Stryder A small single floor house with a large porch and chipped white and blue paint on the outside. The main room is the largest and has an old dining table that has seen some repairs and a small kitchen. To the side of the room closest to the porch was once a bathroom, but most of the tiles have been removed and the room serves as a space for storage. The two other rooms in the house are the master bedroom and a spare bedroom. Cedric keeps the spare bedroom stocked with furs and bedding for visitors but uses the larger master room for himself, fitted with an old mattress that he's covered with a cougar fur blanket. Grynn, Uryu, Armani
H3 -- -- Hadley, Ismeme, Amatha
H4 -- -- Nadia, Lycaon
H5 -- A rather quaint house with a stone foundation and ivy growing up the wall. It has about two bedrooms, a bed and bath, and an extra room. Layout Iorek & Riley
H6 Howland Reeves -- --

East Side

H7 Teagan Stryder -- Indi
H8 Damon Only recently claimed this house, it needs some TLC. All flooring except the bathroom is a red-stained wood, but multiple scratches/scuffs reveal the light color beneath. Three bedrooms, the master has a fireplace in a strangely speckled material (dark brown marble). Not many furnishings yet, except the giant pile of furs he uses for sleeping in the master bedroom, a couch, a coffee table, and another smaller stone fireplace in the living room. --
H9 Callum, Aldora, Quinn, Kira A two story home with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. First floor sports a smaller master bedroom and bath, alongside the kitchen and living areas. A crumbling staircase leads upstairs opening up to a second living space, with a smaller bedroom and bath to the side. The second story living space is divided with curtains and furs to allow privacy for extra tenants. Veyra
H10 Morty Morty's home is highly cluttered with plants, dyes, and all sorts of gory tokens she's collected over the years. But despite its chaotic appearance, it has its organization and is highly lit by large windows. The front of her home is often cluttered with raw pelts and drying plants and meat. --
H11 Veri, Rurik, Alaric, Mercy Veri's house is one story, quint building, even though it's very dusty and needs some loving care to make it home. All of the floors are a scuffed dark wood except in three rooms. The master bedroom has an ochre red carpet, guest bedroom has a dark grey carpet, the bathroom has a plain white tile. All the walls are blue. The living room has a small red brick fireplace. Isobel, Rumpa
H12 Minerva Griffith A small one story house with chipped and faded blue paint on the outside. Inside there is a small kitchen, a large living room, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. Most furnishings have been removed with the exception of a low coffee table, some wool-filled cushions, a homemade stone fire pit, and a bed consisting of a handful of furs stacked on the floor. In the living room, Minnie stores her cloak on a hook by the door. A couple of luperci-made journals and crystals for meditation sit on a shelf in the living room. In the spring through fall she keeps potted plants by the windows and dried sage hung over the windows and doors to keep spirits out. Kira

2.2  Shops

Claiming Guidelines

  • In order to claim a shop, your character must be ranked Officer or higher and have a co-rank that can actively use a shop in order to practice. Ex. Cook and Blacksmith. Please note that shops come with an upper-level apartment for living.
  • A character may own a shop and a separate residence, but it is not encouraged.

  • Second Floor: Second floor has been renovated into an apartment-style room. Humanized wooden framed bed restored only with straw, furs and pelts rather than a mattress. A small dresser with a large washed mirror on one end and a blacked out window on the left.

  • Smells of leather and wax
  • A small room in the back serves as Leoris' private quarters
--
SH7 Makoto Ridley
  • Blacksmith shop!
  • Smells like ashes, metal, and minerals
  • First Flood: The door and windows are rarely closed in order to help dissipate the heat created by the forge. The main room of the shop is large, has a high ceiling, and is kept neat to prevent any accidents. Weapons in various states of repair or the forging process can be found in the weapons racks or on the work tables that are pushed up against the walls; blacksmithing tools may be found hanging from the walls above some of the work tables. The main room houses the forge, two anvils, a barrel of water, and a grindstone wheel; a large work table sits in the middle and is often used heavily for whatever project the smith may be working on. A small, round table with two chairs is pushed off into a corner. In an adjacent room, one will find the storage area for whetstones, tools, extra weapons, materials, ores, and other scraps that are to be melted down.
  • Second Floor: The upstairs room is located above the storage one, and is rather small. It can fit a twin-sized bed, a nightstand, and a dresser.

3.  Outside of Fort Kingsbury

  • Your character must be ranked Officer or higher to claim a residence outside of Fort Kingsbury.
  • Members are highly encouraged to take up housing inside of Fort Kingsbury unless there is a specific IC reason for living outside (ex. a wish to live more feral or being a fisher and wanting to live close to the water).
  • Only characters mated to, directly related to, or within the care of the character that owns the residence may share the housing.
  • If the character that owns the residence leaves or passes away another character of Officer or higher rank must claim the residence in order to keep it as a family home.

Please use our territory map to properly identify the sub territory your residence is located to the best of your ability.
