Olin is a Fjord stallion that accompanies Endre Stígandr as he (rather poorly) navigates through Nova Scotia.

1.  Appearance

  • Size: ~15 hands, average-sized
  • Features: Distinctive trimmed mane of a Fjord horse
  • Coloration: Brown dun
  • Other: ---

2.  Personality

Shy and skittish. Seems to like other horses more than luperci. Doesn't seem to know his own strength. Will startle or run away if approached by strangers, though may return if bribed with a few treats. Best handled by someone with a gentle and patient hand -- will buck and kick if startled or handled harshly.

2.1  Skills & Abilities

  • Saddle broken, though prefers to be ridden bareback
  • Trained for sleigh pulling -- very surefooted + has excellent stamina/strength due to his draft horse heritage
  • Comfortable in snowy terrain
  • Knows basic commands though will only respond if spoken in Norwegian

2.2  Likes & Dislikes

  • Likes: Treats, riding bareback/brideless, rolling in snow
  • Dislikes: Loud noises, impatient handlers, strangers

3.  History

  • Born in the Dovre region of Norway in April of 2011
  • Used as a sleigh-puller for a local group of traders
  • Traded to Endre in late August of 2016
