2010 — The Tenth Year

---

2010 saw tumultuous inter-pack conflict set into motion by the Second Dahlian War. It brought about the overthrow of several longtime pack leaders, and ushered in new blood and a brief season of peace. New packs Cercatori d'Arte and Anathema were formed at the end of the year.

1.  January

1.1  January

• Despite a lifelong poor relationship, Mew Sadira of Dahlia de Mai brings her children to meet her half-brother, Jefferson Soul. ^[1]
• Tokyo Chance gave birth to the children of Haku Soul in Dahlia de Mai. Three are stillborn. King Chance and a female survived the birth, but Haku kills her shortly thereafter. ^[2]
• Kaena Lykoi finally reveals to her son Gabriel de le Poer that Haku Soul had raped her. ^[3] Kaena had been keeping it relatively secret until that point, and this admission enrages Gabriel, who immediately finds Samael Lykoi and tells him of what has occurred. ^[4] The pair immediately take off for Dahlia de Mai's territory, where they sought to find and punish Haku then and there. ^[5]
• The Second Dahlian War begins.
• Gabriel called a meeting to assemble Inferni together and officially declared war on Dahlia de Mai. ^[6]
• Cercelee and Slaying the Dreamer departed from Dahlia de Mai. Cercelee's abandonment of the pack allowed Haku Soul to assume the Adonis (alpha) position of the pack. ^[7]
• Dahlia de Mai held a meeting regarding the tensions with Inferni. Haku Soul announced his alphaship of the pack due to Cercelee's departure. He also dropped his intention to destroy the coyotes, which provokes a a very mixed reaction among the assembled Dahlian wolves. ^[8]
• Haku Soul retaliated against Inferni on and attacked Rikka de le Poer.^[9] Halo Lykoi enters the scene and attacks Haku. Because Halo is carrying weapons, Haku decides to flee. Halo calls for help and follows the Dahlian leader and Gabriel de le Poer answers the call and finds Rikka left behind. Gabriel brings the unconscious woman home to Inferni and treats her injuries.^[10]
• Anselm de le Poer is promoted to Optio (third in command). Gabriel and Anselm discuss the building of a greenhouse on Inferni territory to help supply the clan with medicinal supplies. They work on the greenhouse a little bit themselves, discussing the situation all the while. ^[11]
• Sicarus de Ericeto headed over to Inferni and chased after Vieira Lykoi.^[12] Just as he was about to kill her, Snake shows up and saves Viei, fighting off Sicarus quickly. Snake tends to Vieira and brings her back to Kaena Lykoi, where he is promoted from Hastati to Hydra.
• Phoenix Valley called a pack meeting to establish their neutrality in the war.^[13] Although they would accept Dahlian pacifists, Inferni members were to be turned away from the borders.
• Cour des Miracles also called a pack meeting, and set forth a policy of neutrality unless provoked.^[14]
• After a short meeting with Firefly on January 11th, where Haku's wickedness was briefly argued, Conor Soul starts to question Haku's true intentions.^[15] About two weeks later Conor went to the coyote clan in pursuit of a less twisted truth. He is greeted by a hostile Kaena Lykoi. They began to talk and he learned the reasons for the coyotes' initial attack on Dahlia along with a fuller list of Haku's known sins.^[16]
• Vitium Lykoi, once permanently banished from Inferni, resurfaces on the borders of the clan. Gabriel de le Poer, Kaena Lykoi and Halo Lykoi see him off. ^[17] He later heads to Dahlia de Mai to pledge himself to Haku Soul and his cause. ^[18]
• Savina Marino calls a meeting of Crimson Dreams. ^[19]
• Tokyo Chance orders Kai Aiolos to attack Firefly Sadira, causing her to miscarry her litter, fathered by Haku Soul. This event further pushes Firefly Sadira to act against Dahlia. ^[20]
• D'aww, a Russo reunion! Anatoliy Russo shows up and finds his father Rurik Russo and his siblings Silas Agata and Liliya Russo and everyone hangs out. :D ^[21]
• Gabriel de le Poer shoots laser beams at Hybrid Holocaust with his mind and his eyes. PEW PEW PEW! ^[22]
• Angered over the wounds suffered by his friend, Kai Aiolos decides that he and Sicarus should get revenge. They are joined by Vitium Lykoi, and proceed to destroy some of the skull pikes on Inferni's borders. Their fun is cut short when Hezekiah Finch spots the trio, and alerts the clan. He is quickly joined by Cotl Van Ulrich, Hybrid Holocaust, and Nakir Barzakh, who engage the Dahlian wolves. ^[23]
• Myrtle Hammerkop goes to Inferni in search of his brother, but is stopped by Nala Garner.^[24] Nala is unable to understand Myrtle's demands due to Myrtle's strong French accent. The two argue for a few minutes, and Myrtle tries to pretend he is from Inferni to trick Nala. Eventually, however, Nala attacks Myrtle for trespassing.
• The Marino Family gathers together in Crimson Dreams. ^[25]
• Aniwaya? holds a meeting. Dawali Amara, Asha Amara, Levi Donahue, Tayui Aston, Yumiko Tsume, AriadeValkyria?, and Hemming attend. Dawali warns the pack that the recent conflict between Inferni and Dahlia de Mai is not Aniwayan business and that the members are to avoid the conflict. ^[26]
• Despite his proclamations at the meeting thread, Dawali Amara secretly sneaks to the outskirts of Inferni to deliver some medical supplies to Kaena Lykoi, whom he met some months prior and established a friendship with. He stresses to her that his pack cannot align itself with Inferni for fear of Dahlian retaliation, though he provides goodwill through his gifts. ^[27]

2.  February

• Gabriel de le Poer finds the bodies of Ceval Assicej, Sebastien Quoll, and Sam Kergen on the borders. Jedidiah helps Gabriel bury them. ^[28]
  * Mew Sadira falls in a crack in the hillside at Demon's Trail in Dahlia de Mai.^[29] Already weakened by her injury from Halo Lykoi, the added impact results in her death. Her body is covered by snow, which masking her scent and location. Dahlian wolves assume she has gone missing, for she is nowhere to be found.
• Kai Aiolos of Dahlia de Mai was killed by Razekiel Lykoi of Inferni. ^[30]
• Vigilante Haskel calls a pack hunt for Cour des Miracles. Amaranth Catori, Heath morte dre Soul, and Orin Takekuro attend.
• Ruri Aceline greets Savina Marino on the borders of Cour des Miracles to discuss the movement of Princess Chance from Crimson Dreams. They learn a little bit about one another's packs. ^[31]
• After meeting with Kaena Lykoi, Jacquez Trouillefou attacks Haku Soul. ^[32]
  * Several Inferni members were found dead, their bodies mutilated on the borders of the clan. Ceval Assicaj?, Sam Kergen, and Sebastien Quoll were the victims of an apparent Dahlian attack. Gabriel de le Poer discovered the bodies and called on Jedidiah to help bury them, as both share religious tendencies. ^[33]

3.  March

• In Phoenix Valley, Angelique du Coudray is attacked and raped by a loner named Brutus; Pendzez Zazkex and Ty Trenton Nasphrite. Ty takes care of Angelique while Pendzez kills Brutus. ^[34] The day after the attack, Angelique confides in Xeris that Brutus was her former mate; Angelique is worried that she did not tell the alpha of Phoenix Valley, Jefferson Soul, that Brutus might find her. ^[35] Later, she admits to Jefferson Soul what has happened to her, and that she is pregnant. ^[36]
• Anu Sheah of Crimson Dreams discusses motherhood with Savina Marino, who is pregnant with Kansas Sadira's second litter. Anu Sheah is of course in a relationship with Colibri Haki and biological children are impossible, so it's a little more for Anu to think about than a usual mother. ^[37]
• Ghita Marino of Crimson Dreams is kicked by a deer during a hunt with Flayra Zazkex; although the woman claims to be alright, later she seeks some medicinal help from her niece, Cambria Marino. ^{[38] [39]}
• The Burning of Dahlia: Inferni attacks Dahlia de Mai with fire as another contingent of Inferni heads off to distract the other members. ^[40]

• Jefferson Soul arrives on Dahlia de Mai packlands, and Haku Soul intercepts him. Though the pair are half-brothers, Haku threatens Phoenix Valley and Jefferson himself. ^[52]
• Jefferson Soul also heads to Cour des Miracles to speak with their leadership regarding the war and investigate whether or not they can become allies; he is intercepted by his estranged son, Heath morte dre Soul and they have a rather awkward discussion. ^[53]
• Rurik Russo and his daughter Liliya Russo, newly joined to Cour des Miracles, fish on the shoreline. They are joined by Orin Takekuro, Niro Takekuro, and Zasha Egorov?. ^[54]
• Pontiac D'Angelo of Phoenix Valley calls for a game of tag. ^[55]
• Parker Sadira, Silvano Sadira and Artemis Marino are born to Kansas Sadira and Savina Marino in Crimson Dreams. ^[56]
• Dawali Amara of Aniwaya? and Jefferson Soul of Phoenix Valley temporarily switch places each others' packs. Though they pass this off as something of a switcheroo and an April Fools joke at first, in actuality the leaders did switch places for almost a week, living in each others' packs to learn about them—this was in order to strengthen the alliance between AniWaya and Phoenix Valley. ^[57], ^[58]

4.  April

• Haku Soul and Sicarus de Ericeto set fire to Inferni's Harrow Road Landfill subterritory in retaliation for the attacks at the beginning of March. For unknown reasons, Haku turns on Sicarus. Kaena Lykoi arrives on the scene and attacks Haku, and the two scuffle for a moment—this is interrupted by Halo Lykoi, whose arrival drives Haku Soul away. The pair notice the dying Sicarus de Ericteo, and both note that he was fatally wounded in the trap—they surmise, prior to being thrown into it. Following that, they head to attempt to stop the fire. ^[59]
• Inferni gathers to take stock of the fire; Gabriel de le Poer decides it is no longer safe to keep their borders so close to wolf land—the pack begins to mark Inferni's new borders, shifting the clan northwards considerably. ^[60]
• Nala Garner and Anselm de le Poer walk together while talking. Fae comes and recognizes Nala as the coyote that attacked her. A fight occurs very quickly in which Nala, in an attempt to protect Anselm, attacks Fae, who quickly kills him. Anselm then kills Fae. ^[61]
• Cambria Marino is trapped beneath a piece of wood as she is exploring with Mati Church in Crimson Dreams. ^[62]
• Conor Soul, Semyon Terho, Vark Granel, and Tokyo Chance oust Haku Soul from the pack. ^[63]
• Conor Soul calls a meeting in Dahlia de Mai to announce the ousting of Haku, as well as the rank changes in Dahlia de Mai.^[64]
• Dawali Amara calls a meeting for Aniwaya?. ^[65]
• Second Dahlian War Ends
• Conor Soul comes to Inferni and speaks with Gabriel de le Poer—he tells Gabriel that Haku has been kicked out of the pack. This marks the cessation of conflict between the packs. ^[66]
• Minos Lierrah, formerly of Dahlia de Mai, attacks Princess Chance on Cour des Miracles land. Haven Aatte comes to her rescue. ^[67]
• Geneva Stockholm of Phoenix Valley falls and breaks her face. She is rescued by her mate, Jefferson Soul. ^[68] Unsure of where else to turn, she is brought to AniWaya and handed over to Ember Phoenix and Dawali Amara for treatment. ^[69] Subsequently, Geneva steps down from her subleader position to the retired rank of Whilom.
• Inferni holds a meeting—the war's end is discussed, and the members warn that though the outright conflict with Dahlia has ceased, Haku Soul is still around and capable of causing harm. Anselm de le Poer has temporarily left his post of Optio, feeling pressured from the war, and this change is also announced. ^[70]
• Rurik Russo, a low-ranked member of Cour des Miracles, heads to Aniwaya? to try and strengthen the relationship between the two packs. Newly-returned Attila Aston greets him, and the two get tore up. ^[71] Later that night, Rurik sings "TROLOLOLO" while stumbling home, inadvertantly waking up some of the pack. ^[72]
• In Halifax, Rurik Russo, Silas Agata, , Razekiel Lykoi, Cotl van Ulrich, Conor Soul, Anselm de le Poer, Rikka de le Poer, Lolita Monroe and Lucia Cabriel gather together to celebrate 4/20. 8D ^{MATURE: [73]}

5.  May

• Due to the extended, unexplained absences of Jacquez Trouillefou, the two subleaders, Vigilante Haskel (who initiated the conversation) and Ruri Aceline, discuss the pack's options. It is decided that, because it is clear that the King has gone, Vigilante becomes the new King of Cour des Miracles. A mandatory pack meeting is called to announce this, with mixed reactions. Ruri, especially, has a very hard time with the news, despite knowing about it prior to the meeting and supporting what was being done.^[74]
• Kol Stormbringer is attacked by Hybrid Holocaust. ^[75]
• Eris Lykoi of Inferni wanders outside of the territory and encounters Noir Aston. Viewing the woman's spirit guide, the Lykoi sees this as a sign of power, and attacks Noir, though there is no real damage done and it looks as if Noir will escape—until Noir's hitherto unknown father, Haku Soul attacks her as well, pinning her to the ground and killing her. :O ^{MATURE: [76]}
• After a long absence, Cwmfen nic Graine, former third in command of the pack, returns to Dahlia de Mai—only to find things are quite a bit different than what she remembered. Both Cercelee and Haku Soul, her former co-leaders, are gone, and only Conor Soul remains as the leadership of the pack. ^[77]
• Kaena Lykoi, Centurion (second in command) of Inferni, calls together the coyotes—in the Harrow Road fires, the clan's Hydra (warrior) had lost his home. Kaena had plans to drag one of the cars from Inferni's D'Neville Mansion so Snake could live there. ^[78]
• Lucia Cabriel comes to Inferni and trespasses, and she is found out by Kaena Lykoi. Although at first the Centurion is pissed off at the trespassing, eventually it comes out that Lucia is rather interested in the pack's hydra, Snake. ^[79]
• Cour des Miracles holds a formal ball and get together for their year anniversary. ^[80]
• Anann Kelevra and Heath morte dre Soul call together packmembers of Cour des Miracles to erect a log cabin for her to stay in. ^[81]

6.  June

• Ashkir Devereaux? shows up on on a freakin' whale in Cour des Miracles. Best joining thread ever, y/y? ^[82]
• Oak, Alder, and Cypress are born in Crimson Dreams to Anu Sheah. ^[83]
• Glaiven finds a stranded whale on the Dahlian beach, and the packmembers work together to get it back into the water and save its life. ^[84]

7.  July

• Nayati Utina begins a celebration in Aniwaya? for the monthly task in the pack. ^[85]
• Angelique du Coudray begins a party in Phoenix Valley. ^[86]
• Haku Soul comes to Inferni territory; he digs up the bodies of the canines he had killed during the war and basically redecorates the borders for the clan. He is attacked by Kaena, who he defeats, and heads off to kill Gabriel de le Poer, probably intending to finish off Kae later or something. Gabriel kills him, however, and Kaena lives thanks to being rescued by Jefferson Soul. ^{MATURE: [87], MATURE: [88], [89]}
• In Phoenix Valley, Harlowe D'Angelo assaults his sister, Rio Marino, and rapes her, only to leave directly afterward, heading off to join Dahlia de Mai to be in the company of his "uncle" Larkspur. Haven Aatte, Rio and Harlowe's elder half-brother, finds Rio shortly afterward. ^{MATURE: [90], [91]}
• Eris Lykoi and Halo Lykoi get into an epic catfight in Inferni. They are interrupted by Gabriel de le Poer (accompanied, as always, by the Unibrow), who quickly restores order. Later, Eris makes a voodoo doll, only to be found by Halo's close friend, Silas Agata. ^{[92], [93]}

8.  August

• Niro Takekuro organizes a hunt in the Cour des Miracles pack. Several members attend. ^[94]
• Kaena Lykoi finds Inferni's new Outsider, Lucia Cabriel injured and disoriented on the border of the clan's territory. ^[95]
• Dawali Amara organizes a pack ceremony to commemorate the passage of summer. Each packmember brings a white item to be sacrificed, and the pack extinguishes and relights their ceremonial flame. ^[96]
• Daisuke Ghanjai trespasses into Inferni territory; he is intercepted by the clan's Aquila, Gabriel de le Poer and Hybrid Holocaust. ^[97]

9.  September

• Gideon Stormbringer discovers a black female toss a bag into a fire before she runs off. Seeing that there's something alive inside the bag, he saves it from the greedy flames. He finds two newborn puppies in there and takes them back to Dahlia. These puppies are later discovered to most likely be another one of Haku Soul's rape litters, as names written on the bag revealed that the puppies' surname was Soul. ^[98]
• Lolita Monroe gives birth to five puppies in Dahlia de Mai. The first two are living girls, Poppy Monroe and Magnolia Monroe. The third is a stillborn male, whom she names Orchid Monroe. Next came a set of twins, Foxglove Monroe and Iris Monroe, however, Iris died a few days after their birth. The father of these puppies is Niro Takekuro of Cour des Miracles.
• Nayati Utina calls together the Aniwayans? for a pack hunt. ^[99]

10.  October

• Skye Collins and Shawchert Menue decide to create a pack based on artistic talents and bettering themselves in the art department. Founding members include Orin Takekuro, Ouija d'Angelo, and Lucia Marino. The pack is named Cercatori d'Arte.

• In Anathema, Eris Eternity gives birth to Salvia Eternity, Pandemic D'Angelo, and Wretch D'Angelo, fathered by Larkspur D'Angelo. ^[100]
• Ayita Catori and Vigilante Haskel of Cour des Miracles bring their new litter into the world. Three puppies are born; two living boys, Noah Haskel and Liam Catori, and one stillborn girl, Ame Haskel.
