2008 — The Eighth Year

In early, the packs began to flounder. Membership decreased; the longest-standing of all the packs, the only remaining foundation pack, Storm was suddenly hit with disaster after disaster, and it seemed even the eldest of the groups would falter. By far the largest event of was certainly the April 1^st fires set by Gabriel de le Poer. They ravaged the territory, forcing all to flee south—in one fiery night everything was gone, and all of the packs save Inferni were shattered.

Following the fire, groups shuffled around aimlessly. In some instances the wolves tried to rekindle what they had in the previous lands by giving their packs namesakes of the old lands and paying tribute to them, and in others they tried to form steadier groups—all but Dahlia de Mai faltered from those outcroppings. Phoenix Valley also remained, founded a few months after the fires, but all of the rest perished, disbanded or renamed or otherwise altered. The very end of the year saw an entirely new group of canines from a faraway place arrive to form Aniwaya?.

1.  Early

1.1  January

• 1 January: Clouded Tears has a meeting. Laruku Tears, Maria Agapito, Rachias Tears de Ame, Ahren de le Poer, Naniko D'Angelo, Jasper de le Poer, Melisande Sadira get together to share some stories in celebration of the new year.
• 6 January: An avalanche strikes Storm. Phoenix's daughter Ember Phoenix is lost in the avalanche, and the pack organizes search parties to try and find the girl. Pilot Haddon, Selene D'Angelo, Angelique du Coudray, Kansas Sadira, Kyuubi?, Tamerlane?, Dierdre Rhiannon, Moon Phoenix, and Skoll search for the lost child.

• Phoenix of Storm is attacked by a cougar while he is attempting to save Selene D'Angelo from it. ^[5]
• 10 January**: Storm has a meeting.

1.2  February

• 8 February: Ezekiel de le Poer are Talitha Lykoi and an unnamed stillborn were born to Faolin Mogotsi and Gabriel de le Poer in Inferni.

1.3  March

• 9 March: Jaded Shadows has a meeting. Lucifer Sawtooth, Kieran Heartsong, Endymion Russo, Deuce Rhiannon, Ari Sohs and Tayui Aston attend.
• 16 March**: Storm has a meeting. Pilot Haddon, Skoll, Anderung Meer, Nocht gather to discuss the recent illness of the alpha, Phoenix. Because of his sickness, Pilot was appointed to act as alpha temporarily while Phoenix was incapacitated.
• 20 March: Deuce Rhiannon gives birth to the children of Lucifer Sawtooth, Taliesin dir Rhiannon and Noah Sawtooth in Storm.

1.4  April

• 1 April: Gabriel de le Poer ignites the fire that consumes all of the former Bleeding Souls territories and forces everyone to flee south. ^{[6]. [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12], [13], [14], [15]}
  • Apollo Haddon, fathered by Pilot Haddon and Sirius Revlis fathered by Samael Lykoi, are born to Dierdre Rhiannon as she is fleeing the fires. ^[16]
• 2 April: Future members of Twilight Vale discuss the creation of the pack. Conri Church, Naniko D'Angelo, Deuce Rhiannon, Lucifer Sawtooth, Nocht, and Anka de Sadira, regroup after the fire.

  • Gabriel de le Poer and Anselm de le Poer meet one another—this proves crucial to the foundation of Inferni. ^[18]
• 3 April: Inferni explores its new land and regroup after the fire. Gabriel de le Poer, Anselm de le Poer, Molochai de Odi Lykoi, Hybrid Holocaust, Samael Lykoi, Faolin Mogotsi, Rachias Tears de Ame gather together. Gabriel makes Inferni's refoundation official, and doles out the promotions to the others.
• 10 April: Twilight Vale is founded by Conri Church and Naniko D'Angelo. ^{[19], [20]}
  • Labyrinth Glen is founded by Fatin Kali and Melisande Sadira. ^[21]
• 13 April: Shadowed Sun is founded. Tayui Aston, Pilot Haddon, Zexion, Skoll, Kieran Heartsong, and Lubomir Varg gather together to explore the new lands and decide how their pack will run. They decide to model their pack after ancient Spartan culture. After settling the civil aspects of their pack, they decide a hunt is in order to reinforce the pack's bonds. ^{[22], [23],[24]}
• 21 April: Dahlia de Mai is founded by Colibri Soul and Cercelee.
• 22 April: Insieme is founded by Maria Agapito, Beppe Agapito, Giuseppe Agapito. Beppe Agapito, Anderung Meer, and Ari Sohs gather together and hunt. ^{[25], [26]}
• 23 April: First Dahlian War Begins
  • Asphyxia Holocaust attacks Mew Sadira.^[27]
  • Shadowed Sun has a storytelling event—Lubomir Varg tells his packmates about his time in the old country. ^[28]
• 25 April: Twilight Vale has a hunt, led by Naniko D'Angelo and Conri Church.
• 26 April: Dahlia de Mai has a hunt. Cercelee, Mew Sadira, Colibri Soul, Susquehanna, and Slaying the Dreamer hunt a buck together and feast together afterward.

2.1  May

• 22 May: Insieme celebrates Lemures by doing something!

2.2  June

• 2 June: Colibri Soul leaves control of Dahlia de Mai to Cercelee.
• 13 June: Dahlia de Mai has a meeting. WindSeeker?, Firefly Sadira, Slaying the Dreamer, Susquehanna, Mew Sadira, Desavio Caesius?, and Haku Soul gather together. They discuss the disappearance of Colibri Soul, and Haku Soul is promoted to the second-in-command position. They also discuss recent tensions with Inferni, and several suggestions are thrown out. Eventually, the Adonis Cercelee decides they will take up a defensive position.
• 15 June: Ahren de le Poer approaches his son, Gabriel de le Poer, the Aquila (leader) of Inferni. Ahren tells Gabriel that the other packs are aligning against Inferni, and proposes to help Inferni.
• 14 June: Labyrinth Glen is disbanded after Fatin Kali leaves 'Souls in search of one of her brothers. Prior to departing, she goes to Inferni and speaks with Gabriel de le Poer—he requests that she take her godchildren, Talitha Lykoi and Ezekiel de le Poer away with her.
• 16 June: Cercelee, new leader of Dahlia de Mai, heads to Shadowed Sun. She discusses the state of things with Pilot Haddon, the alpha male of the pack there—topics include the foundations of their respective packs as well as the recent arrival of the Insieme pack, along with the disbanding of the Labyrinth Glen pack.
• 20 June: Insieme is disbanded after the disappearance of several key founding members.
• 17 June: Twilight Vale has a meeting. Conri Church, Lucifer Sawtooth, Kansas Sadira, Deuce Rhiannon, and Jazper Rhiannon-Knight surprise Naniko D'Angelo for her birthday.
• 18 June: Esper Hollow is formed. Laurel Booth and Nikita Eirisa are traveling through 'Souls when they come across Laurent Nakado, one of Laurel's old friends. The trio makes plans to meet up later with more of their friends to form a pack. Laurent returns to his place to fetch Jasper de le Poer, followed by Laurel and Nikita shortly thereafter. Zephyr le Bach? happens upon them, and having nowhere of his own to go, enlists with their ranks. The same group then sets out to explore their new packlands in Ethereal Eclipse. ^{[29], [30], [31]}

2.3  July

• 20 July: Twilight Vale has a meeting. Naniko D'Angelo, Khaden Aatte, Savina Marino, Soran Aatte, Jazper Rhiannon-Knight, Conri Church, Lucifer Sawtooth, Apollo Haddix, Nella Fantasia, and Kansas Sadira attend. The meeting is centered around the recent tensions between Inferni and Dahlia de Mai. Naniko is slightly more forgiving toward the coyotes, and she states the war is Haku Soul's fault. Despite this, however, she insists that Twilight Vale remain neutral in the war between the other two groups and refrain from involvement at all. Orders are given that Inferni canines found on the borders will be dealt with accordingly.
• 19 July: Phoenix Valley is formed by Iskata Sadira, Deuce Rhiannon, and Hel. Styx ap Siorus, Asmodai, and Colibri Soul gather together to form the pack. Iskata Sadira takes the leadership rank, and explains the packs' ranking system to the gathered wolves.
• 26 July: Shadowed Sun has a meeting, in which the pack gets down to business about learning. Skoll, Sirius Revlis, Bleach Evers, Tayui Aston, Pilot Haddon, and Urma attend the meeting, and the packmembers evaluate one anothers' skills and compare what they have so that they can better educate one another and the other wolves.
• 30 July: Dahlia de Mai attacked Inferni. Firefly Sadira, Khaden Aatte, Kol Stormbringer, Mew Sadira, and Alexey Koios sneak to the clan's borders, launching a surprise attack on Gabriel de le Poer, Asphyxia Holocaust, Hybrid Holocaust, Ahemait Lykoi, Ahren de le Poer, and Anselm de le Poer fight them off, with Ahren providing support with his crossbow from a tree.

2.4  August

• 5 August: Esper Hollow was struck by a form of canine distemper, causing several members to fall ill. Jasper de le Poer hallucinates things while Corona Lykoi attempted to care for him. ^[32] Ahren de le Poer found Laruku Tears completely ill with fever in an abandoned cabin and carried him to Esper Hollow, where Jasper de le Poer was being cared for. ^[33][34]
• 11 August: Twilight Vale held a hunt. Khaden Aatte, Savina Marino, Jazper Rhiannon-Knight, and Lucifer Sawtooth hold a hunt to help sustain their pregnant alpha female, Naniko D'Angelo.
• 13 August: Phoenix Valley held a meeting. Iskata Sadira called them together, and Anu Sheah, Deuce Rhiannon, Asmodai, and Styx ap Siorus gathered together to discuss the addition of a naval fleet to Phoenix Valley's protections. Recent tensions with Inferni had set them all on edge, and since several of the Valley pack's members were also members of Aremys, the Inferni-Aremys war hung heavily on their mind, and they did not desire for a repeat of the same fate. Hel's pregnancy was announced to the pack, so there was some good news mixed in with the bad.
• August 23: First Dahilian War ends.
  • Inferni had a pack meeting, in which Gabriel de le Poer effectively ended the coyote side of aggression and proclaimed Andrezej Lykoi an official rogue of the clan, with a death notice on his head. Anselm de le Poer discussed Esper Hollow and the illness that broke out there, warning the members of the clan to stay away from the pack to avoid contagion. Corona Lykoi, Talitha Lykoi, Samael Lykoi, Hybrid Holocaust, Sirius Revlis, and Asphyxia Holocaust attend, but Asphyxia left the midst of the clan suddenly. ^[35]
• 25 August: Andrezej Lykoi returned to Inferni to happen upon his niece, Talitha Lykoi. Unfortunately for him, the rest of Inferni was waiting for him, and Gabriel de le Poer, Corona Lykoi, Faolin Mogotsi, and Anselm de le Poer killed him for what he did to Talitha.
• 26 August: Twilight Vale moved. Naniko D'Angelo called together Savina Marino, Jazper Rhiannon-Knight, Ehno Marino, and Kansas Sadira gathered together to discuss a territory shift westeward.
  • Shadowed Sun was disbanded. Tayui Aston informs Pilot Haddon of Skoll's recent death and Lubomir Varg's disappearance. Realizing the pack consisted only of Urma, Ember Phoenix, and the two alphas, they realized they would not survive the oncoming winter. Deciding it would be better and safer to disband, they split up and headed their separate ways. ^[36]

3.1  September

• 9 September: Mati Church, Brooklyn D'Angelo, Haven Aatte, Salem D'Angelo, and stillborns Tatiana D'Angelo and Silas Aatte are born in Twilight Vale to alpha pair Naniko D'Angelo and Conri Church.
• 21 September: Crimson Dreams was formed. Some of the members had gotten together to discuss it prior to this actually happening; the largest remnant of Shadowed Sun, Pilot Haddon and Urma, are absorbed into the rest of Twilight Vale and they become Crimson Dreams.

3.2  October

• 3 October: Phoenix Valley celebrated the First Frost festival. Iskata Sadira, Deuce Rhiannon, Jefferson Soul, Jazper Rhiannon-Knight, and Pendzez Zazkex gathered together in celebration.
• 28 October: Esper Hollow became defunct. The canine distemper had weakened the pack, killing off some of the members. The killing blow to the group came when the leaders, Laurel Booth and Nikita Eirisa departed, leaving it leaderless. The remnants of the pack parted and went their separate ways.

3.3  November

• 7 November: Zana Avaya Lykoi, Alek Jael Sadira and Anaz Zahara Lykoi are born in Phoenix Valley to Iskata Sadira. The father of the children is Samael Lykoi of Inferni.
• 29 November: Ahren de le Poer attacked Iskata Sadira, leaving her for a bear to finish her off. She does not die, however, though she is crippled by the attack.
• 30 November: Ahren de le Poer killed Laruku Tears and then himself, burning the cabin they lived in. ^{[37], [38]}

3.4  December

• 8 December: Phoenix Valley had a meeting. Deuce Rhiannon, Jefferson Soul, Pepe Sadira, Lucifer Sawtooth, DaVinci Daite Nasphrite, Allegro Aston gather. Iskata stepped down from Matriarch position, leaving leadership of Phoenix Valley to Jefferson Soul.
• 15 December: Aniwaya? was formed by Ayegali Kala. Dohi Ulagahasti, Uwoduhi Ama, Asha Amara, Usdi Tawodi, Dawali Amara, Lucifer Sawtooth, and Tayui Aston gathered together and discovered the Serena Reserve area together, deciding the area is quite fit for settling. Itsihnalv Go, Usdi Tawodi, andAyegali Kala gathered together as well, and Tayui Aston seeks to join the pack. After the departure of the first few from the larger tribe, Ayegali Kala, Ember Phoenix, Tayui Aston, Pilot Haddon, and Dawali Amara gathered together to mark the official start of the pack. ^{[39], [40], [41]}
• 30 December: Barthélémy Aston discovers a murder in an abandoned lighthouse in The Trenches and suspects Aurèle Aston to be the murderess.
• 31 December: Tayui Aston of Aniwaya? gives birth to Claudius Aston, Attila Aston, Noir Aston, and Ocèane Aston. The father of this litter is actually Haku Soul, but this fact is unknown except to Tayui herself and Dawali Amara.
