Basics

Yuki is an extremely polite boy who finds the most enjoyment out of talking to others or exploring with the companionship of his imagination. He always calls people with titles and makes sure everything he says is respectful. At first. Once Yuki feels on similar grounds with someone, he finds it easy to filter in jokes or humour into his words, all with a pure heart however. The boy finds little meanining in insulting or getting angry at someone, he's seen it a lot in his siblings arguements and frankly doesn't think it's worth his energy or time to get so upset.

Because Yuki loves life and he loves the people in it, with one clear reason: He hardly gets to see anything. What began as frequent puppy naps has progressed to an almost constant state of fatigue during the day. Yuki struggles to remain awake for long during the day, especially after doing anything that might use up energy. These constant dips in activity means the boy misses out on a lot of things, which Yuki tries not to get upset over but often struggles. He feels like he lets a lot of people down by doing nothing, even if it isn't his fault.

But when the moon is shining instead of the sun, Yuki finds his energy finally come rushing back. Aside from a few nights where Yuki's energy is completely spent, the boy comes alive at night. Although he is frequently alone, he relishes in the time where he actually feels useful in his own body, and not just a dead weight. As he comes to grips with purposes and jobs, Yuki will strive to fill his evening with as much as he can, all to try and help those who walk during the day.

• Yuki's heart struggles with thoughts of friends and love. Deep down he desires to have such a close connection to someone, but also doesn't want to burden another with his current condition and lack of attention. Seeing others fall in love makes Yuki wonder if he'll ever have something familiar, and often worries that he'll spend his life on his own. He is open to romantic relationships, with no preference to the kind of person he'd fall in love with, only held down by the fear that he'll never be enough for someone else.

• Having been told of the dual-spirit god of the day and night, Yuki fully believes his connection to the darkness has something to do with Valleuar, as a Moonweaver. Because of this, Yuki has dedicated himself to following the belief of the moon god and tries to find ways to show his respect. Yuki is a strong believer but is more personal in his belief, this means he isn't one to push others to join the fold or be stubborn on his belief.

• Nothing when he's young, but will be keen on trying once he's older.

• Wood Working (Novice): Following after his dad, Yuki is beginning to find a keen interest in working with wood. Yuki usually works with small pieces of wood to carve out little shapes or random trinkets, usually when resting under the moonlight.
• Worship (Novice): Told about Valleuar, the spirit of the Night, Yuki dedicates himself to worshipping the god. Although he's not old enough to be considered any kind of expert in Valleuar's lessons, the young priest hopes to be more confident the more time he spends learning under the moon's gaze.
• Falconry (Novice): Learning by doing, along with some tips from those used to working with birds, Yuki is training his owl in how to work with him. So far Yuki understands what Keikai needs to be happy, mostly food, and how to call the owl to his arm to perch. In time Yuki hopes to train Keikai to scout ahead and potentially learn some words to communicate with.

• Daytime Fatigue: For whatever unidentified reason, Yuki finds it extremely hard to remain awake and focused during the day. He tries hard to fight it by organising set naps, but there is still always that nagging need to sleep in the back of his head. Sometimes Yuki can push through and ignore it, other times he has no choice but to collapse.
• Confusion: Thanks to Yuki's frequent dreaming, he can sometimes lose track of recent memories and events. Although easily reassured by others, someone willing to manipulate Yuki could easily make him believe something happened that he just forgot.
