1.1  Essentials

Basics

  • Species: Yesfir is a wolf/dog hybrid with majority of her descent being from Pharaoh hounds. Very dog like in appearance with few wolf like traits.
  • Build: Thin and small, Yesfir physique is akin to that of a sight hound with a little more bulk thanks to her shepherd and wolf blood. Is built more for speed and endurance rather than strength.
  • Facial Features: Face is thin and angular with a long, narrow muzzle. Ears are smaller thanks to her wolf blood and she has narrow brown and blue eyes.
  • Fur: Thin and sleek, does not grow very long and does not give her much protection from the cold. Relies on clothing to keep herself warm during winter. Has a golden sable coat with black chimera markings on the right side of her upper body.
  • Hair: Thin like her fur and kept long, easily manageable and mirrors the color split on her face.
  • Lupus: Least preferred as she cannot carry as many things in this form, but will use it for long bouts of travel where she backs lightly. Can be mistaken for a dog in this form.
  • Optime: Most preferred do to the culture of her family. Very human like as Yesfir stands as upright as she can. Has a slight hourglass shape, but it is not too noticeable.

Business savvy and resilient with a hint of underhandedness Yesfir is a survivor. She adapts to her surroundings, crafting a second skin to protect herself and her lifestyle from harm or restraint. She is a free spirit that would rather play by her own rules than be stifled, but with go along for the ride if it benefits her. She is not an individual of extremes, and openly shows disdain for the benevolent and malevolent. Amoral even at a young age she doesn't believe dirty tricks, lying, or hurting others is a crime, so long as she can justify it in the long run. Whatever she does its to benefit herself. Any deal struck with her will surely make you happy for a time, but she'll make sure to end up happier. This doesn't mean she's a bad person (at least she doesn't think so), and is more often than not amiable. She has an energy about her that often lights up a room and comforts others. She is sympathetic to others, especially the downtrodden and poor, and is known to slip them a little something extra to help ease their burdensome lives. She is fond of company and hates being alone, a preference she picked up over the years of living with such a large family network. She easily worms her way into social circles and likes to be buddy buddy with everyone she comes into contact with.

She is fond of spinning fantastical stories that often has little white lies mixed in to make them more impressive. Her silver tongue makes for an impressive tool of speech that others often become engrossed in. She'll make you believe there are actually wendigos and jackalopes out there. She takes the long way to anywhere just to see and learn what she can. A planner she makes sure to stay two steps ahead and have multiple backup plans. However, do to her young age the arrogance of youth can often blind her and make her feel invincible. Yesfir fights against authority like a stubborn bull, and she'll fight you until your hair turns grey. Believes her own experiences are more valid than any institution and put all her faith in herself. Can often be petty in arguments and will stay mad just to irritate you. Yesfir does not find it easy to apologize, and will only do so rarely. She finds it hard to admit when she's wrong.

Heterosexual. Has a rather healthy libido, but uses it as a tool more than as something to have fun with. Uses her sexuality to gain power and sees nothing wrong with having multiple partners. Does not need to be emotionally invested in others, and will most likely be the one to kick others out of her bed after she's done with them.

Spirituality

Atheist, does not believe in any spirituality, only in herself and her own actions. Believes religion can be a good things for others, but is inherently a dangerous thing as some might use it as an excuse to do heinous things. However, she does believe in what is deemed supernatural such as ghost, aliens, and other fantastical creatures. She often tries to hunt them down for proof to show off to others.

Substances

Smokes but rarely drinks. Is comfortable with her own vices and often rejects stronger substances out of indifference. Is a total lightweight when it comes to alcohol and often blurts out random phrases before throwing up everywhere. Does not have an addictive personality (or so she claims).

Strengths

  • Reading & Writing: Taught from the moment she could hold a pen by her mother, Yesfir is an accomplished calligrapher and is able to read with ease. Has very neat script writing that might make it difficult for those with low literacy to read. Can read and write in three languages, English, French, and Swiss.
  • Bluffing: Her charisma and need of self-preservation makes for a dangerous combination. Born with a silver tongue Yesfir can talk her way out of most problems.
  • Knowledge (Nature): Has keen eyes and a sense of smell that helped her in procuring spices for the family trade. She can identify many local and exotic herbs and spices, and knows what's edible and what is poisonous.
  • Distilling and Fermentation: Her family's main trade was in alcohol and herbs, knows the processes of making rudimentary alcohol, and uses this knowledge with food goods that need fermentation as well, such as yogurt.
  • Bookkeeping: While unable to sell wares in her family's trade, she could keep track of the stocks and money that flowed in and out. Her need for organization made her a natural, however her basic grasp of mathematics leaves much to be desired when it comes to accurate bookkeeping.

Weaknesses

  • Frail: Is not physically strong and can suffer injuries easily in fights or do to overexertion. Sucks at climbing and swimming.
  • Combat: Do to her fragility and her family's strict gender roles Yesfir never really learned how to fight. She talks her way out of most predicaments and has never held anything larger than a kitchen knife.
  • Cooking: Knows some basic knife skills and simple recipes. Was never really interested in it as a child she barely remembers anything taught to her. More often than not overcooks meals to a burnt crisp. Is most comfortable with stews (hard to burn) but those can be dubious as well.

6.  History

Yesfir was one of the first born twins of her parents belonging to a large trading family with a strong support system full of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. She grew up dotted upon by many in her familial circle, especially her paternal grandmother who cared for her while her mother and the other women worked. The young Yesfir rarely saw her father as he would travel to far off places, bringing back exotic spices and goods to use in their trade. She spent much of her younger years playing with cousins around her age and exploring the seaside with her twin brother. They would collect seashells and they would come up with fantastical stories about life on the sea. As she grew older her schooling began, learning to read and write in the languages of her family, basic math, and the world at large. It was also around this time she began to learn the family trade, and her brother began to venture out with their father and the rest of the men. Yesfir would always look forward to his return, her brother bringing her personal little knickknacks and stories of the far off lands he had visited. She was comfortable and satisfied with her life, but as she became of age the prospect of marriage began to loom over her like a dark cloud. Her family quickly betrothed her to to son of a powerful ally far across the sea in hopes of building an exclusive business relationship. Yesfir, not agreeing with her families wishes, fled into the night. She hid in a travelling caravan, using goods she had taken to barter her way across the countryside in hopes of building her own life.
