Uryu Catori

Uryu Catori is the only son of Amaranth Catori and Vigilante Haskel, conceived in Cour des Miracles but born in the Catori family pack, Green Wood. Uryu is the companion of Grynn Garcia-Knight and currently resides in Casa di Cavalieri.

History

Amaranth Catori conceived her litter under scandalous circumstances: she had been staying with her family in Cour des Miracles, and in the wake of her mother's death, ended up sleeping with her stepfather Vigilante Haskel. She was forced to end her long-standing mateship with Niro Takekuro when she realized she was carrying Haskel puppies, and in October 2012, she abruptly left to search for her mother's birthplace as an excuse to hide her litter's parentage.

Uryu and his three sisters were therefore born in the Catori pack, Green Wood. They were never told of their father, although their mother kept in correspondence with some of her family members, and was later joined by her older son Heiro Catori. The wolf-dominant pack raised Uryu and his sisters strictly, but still accepted them despite their heavily dog appearances. Amaranth adapted and made her home there, with no intentions of returning to Cour des Miracles.

Sadly, Uryu's runt sister Ginger wandered off early in their youth, and was never recovered. Esperanza foolishly tried to search for their littermate, and she fell into a river and was washed far from Green Wood. They mourned her loss until receiving word from Cour des Miracles that Hati Catori had rescued her. There was no mention of Ginger with her, and Esperanza opted to stay in the dog-friendly pack, so Uryu and Altaira alone grew up under Green Wood discipline.

Appearance

Kentaro takes after his father more than his mother with a relatively darker, gray coat.

Nander, Heavy metal, & Cod Gray —Kentaro's main pelt color is a layering of three grays; nander starting mid torso changing to heavy metal and then cod gray on his backside. His face is also mostly the nander gray and his ears, legs and tip of tail are touched by the cod gray.

Muesli —Kentaro has several instance of muesli beige on his body, mostly on his under belly, under his eyes, his eye-dots and the insides of his ears.

Graphite —The darkest color on Kentaro's body is graphite. This is can most intensely be seen on a mask around his eyes and muzzle, the back of his ears, his front legs, and his scruff.

Cape Palliser —A lovely subtle orange shade of cape palliser can bee see on the front of Kentaro's limbs as well as a very subtle "blush" on his cheeks.

Cedar —A subtler "Lykoi blaze" is found on Kentaro's snout in a cedar color.

Tumbleweed —Kentaro's eyes are a light tumbleweed.
