Stormblade

Stormblade is the son of Thunderaxe O'Connell and Fawndancer O'Connell.

He came to 'Souls in the summer of 2016 and stayed in Casa di Cavalieri until in the early winter of 2017, he suffered head trauma and amnesia. He was brought back to Anathema by Avinalora and stayed there until the summer of 2017, after recovering for the Spring Sickness.

He left 'Souls in 2017 and found a mate, Maera Stormfast. He came back with her to Storm Valley and they had kids.

Stormblade is a massive Luperci with a tank-like build. His bulk is also exaggerated by his long and thick fur which is double-coated.

Stormblade is mostly wolf-like. He is quite large due to the mix of many large wolf and dog species and the Caucasian Shepherd in him contributes to his long fur. HIs build comes from a mixture of Grey wolf and Russian wolf genes.

Most would be surprised to find that Stormblade is a calm and placid being despite his intimidating appearance. Stormblade is peaceful in spite of his military upbringing. He respects all and doesn't throw his weight around. He is very caring and compassionate to all he meets. He is also very gentle and kind. He is a wolf of few words and he doesn' take an active part in a conversation. He was and is still a soldier, yet he has very strong morals. He will not fight those who can not fight back, and will not attack those who don't want to fight. He respects his opponent and he accepts defeat. He prefers to be alone and doesn't seek out others, but will not intentionally avoid others. He is quite organized and has quiet determination. He is also very loyal and selfless. Though, if Stormblade is provoked he will become a force to be reckoned with. Stormblade has seen a lot as a former soldier. For this reason, he only uses violence as a last resort. Also, from his soldier training, Stormblade obeys orders unless they go against his morals. He is also stoic and is very disciplined and has good self-control.

Stormblade was born in the O'Connell pack. He was born to Thunderaxe and Fawndancer. His mother died not long after his birth after she was attacked by a group of violent loners. He was nursed by another female. After his mother's death, Thunderaxe became obsessed with turning his son into a warrior, a soldier. At the age of six months, Thunderaxe sent his son to the "Boot Camp", a place where the five packs of Ireland sent young males to become soldiers. Stormblade was taught to use a sword and an axe like his father. Stormblade's training was stricter and longer than most students, a grueling twelve instead of eight. Thunderaxe's sister, Nightpetal saw that despite Stormblade having his father's looks, he had Fawndancer's heart. She knew that Fawndancer would never put her son through that training and begged Thunderaxe to stop it. In the Boot Camp, Stormblade was a good student, and unlike most he always helped his opponents up and he was very mindful to not hurt them. His father saw that as a weakness. Stormblade never raised his voice towards his father, nor did he talk back. Just before Stormblade's "graduation" at the age of a year and a half, Thunderaxe captured a loner for his son to fight. Stormblade looked his father in the eye and told him that he would never kill an innocent. That enraged him, and Thunderaxe disowned his son and left him with many scars. After hearing about Souls from a trader, Stormblade got a job as a guard aboard a trading ship to Souls.
