Sorel is one of four Montgomery boys made up of Arber, Marceau, and Telfor.

The brothers tend to be loud, garish men - eager to drink and pick fights with other families at the drop of a hat. Telfor tends to be the brother that the others defer to and is the most similar to their father.

Sorel is one of the loudest brothers, a tall thin waif of a man who is always eager to spread his opinions. He has splashes of white on his chest, and an arching scar that cuts across his face - claiming the right socket where his eye should be. Sorel is obsessive when it comes to planning, and unlike Marceau, Sorel does not do well with unbridled spontaneity which is surprising as Sorel is often considered the laziest contributor of the group. His hair is always haphazard and unkempt as if he's just woken from sleep, and he has a lazy crooked smile that attracts women to him like flies. He is all at once confident and morose, and is known for doing whatever it takes to ensure the safety of his family.

Sorel is a writer and can often be found with his scarred muzzle buried deep within one of his books.

They live by their families creed of 'watch well' and he is always sure to keep track of what his brothers are doing.

Sorel has the same silver freckles as his sister and his remaining eye is a defiant shade of silver. His fur is dark blue-black like the rest of his family.
