Sophie Hughes is currently a Loner

1.  Appearance

Sophie is small, standing at only 4'2 in Optime form as a result of malnourishment both as a puppy and in the womb--and though she is still somewhat underfed from living as a loner, she is somewhat better than she used to be. Her fur is mainly a light brown, with a darker chocolate saddle over her head and back--the majority of which is covered by another saddle in black, beginning at the base of her skull and going all the way down to the base of her tail. The black appears again along her backside, as well as on her back legs from the hock down.

There are three black rings on her tail, broken up some by the creamy underside. The final ring, along the very end of her tail, cuts off the cream completely, only for it to reappear above the ring on the tip of the appendage. There are three black-and-cream "V" markings on her back, appearing just above and below her shoulders and over her hips.

Her chest is chocolate brown from her collarbone to just beneath her breasts in Optime form, where it melts into cream all the way down to her pelvis. The chocolate reappears on her forearms, leading down to her black fingers and toes. There is another black marking on her face, encompassing the upper portion of her jaw all the way up the ridge of her nose. Her chin, and her cheekbones just below her baby blue eyes are highlighted with cream--the latter somewhat covered by the traditional Hughes tattoo, a dark line that goes from beneath her right eye across the bridge of her nose to just beside her left, where it branches off into three distinct curls.

Having grown up as something of a wild child alongside her twin brother Boothe, Sophie has grown used to wearing animal pelts, or nothing at all. Her hair is lengthy, falling past her shoulders when down; she usually keeps it in a number of braids, decorated with leather cords upon which are tied any number of things; shells, feathers and even small bells and knick-knacks from human ruins. She often has feathers tied into the fur behind her ears in lupus form as well.

Since coming across her brother Heath--a previously unknown relation--Sophie has gained several piercings; two in her left ear and one in her right. The latter is not metal, but a thin leather cord, which--much like those in her hair--has been ornamented with a bluebird's feather and a small glass orb--a Tiger's Eye marble--which Sophie obtained from the ruins of an old house. The two in her left have yet to be personalized; they're merely silver studs. She also has a naval piercing in the form of a silver hoop.

2.  History

After a brief time with their brother Leon, Sophie as well as her twin brother Boothe began living on their own, setting up a territory not far from Freetown where they learned to survive. Sophie and Boothe came to be dependent on each other, for survival and for their own mental health; it was difficult to be alone with only themselves for company, and that took its toll on them.

They rarely came across strangers--even more rarely interacted with them. They lived like wild children for months, and it wasn't until they came across their older brother Heath that they began to come back to themselves, regaining some semblance of civility. They decided to return to their childhood home, in the hopes of finding their other brothers and apologizing for their behavior--and for running away.
