Ramsey is the son of Saga D'Angelo and Boone Winthrop. Feeling lost as her older sons began to gain their independence and learn to shift, Saga toyed with the idea of having another litter. Ultimately she decided that such an idea was foolish, and she should concentrate on leading the Vale. That was, at least, until the opportunity presented itself very blatantly.
Boone Winthrop visited the Vale in June 2019 to discuss a potential trade route between the Del Cenere Gang and Mistfell Vale. A known "bad boy", Boone brought along a great deal of the Ashen's moonshine with him and a proposed that they toast with it after securing plans for a trade route. Under the influence of strong alcohol, the inevitable happened...

- Saga D'Angelo is his mother, and like this older brothers, Ramsey both adores and fears her at times. Strict, yet loving, though intolerant of excess misbehaviour, Saga has high standards for her sons, but boys will be boys and she doesn't always get her own way...
- Boone Winthrop is his father that he has never met. Recently mated to another woman at the time of his conception, he leads the nearby Del Cenere Gang. Saga has deliberately withheld information about him from Ramsey, preferring to raise her son alone.
- Caspar is his eldest brother. Quiet and reserved, Caspar is by no means the "good" son, he's just smart enough to not make his involvement in Daniel's hijinks well known.
- Daniel is his other older brother. A born adventurer and troublemaker, Daniel will likely be a bad influence on his youngest brother in days to come.

- Ragna Eklund is his "aunt" and the mother of his older brother's agemate "cousins". As his brothers are friends with her children and his mother is friends with her, Ramsey may well bump into her a lot.
- Posey Prior is his "grandmother" and most frequent babysitter. Whenever his mother is too busy with pack business, he is often left in the care of Posey.
