Oriole de l'Or is a coydog born and raised in Inferni. He holds the rank of Bellum and is in training to defend the clan.
He is the serious son of Jehan de l'Or and Cartier Inferni, fathered by Jehan and borne by his aunt, Versace Inferni. As the offspring of the clan's subleader and a dog Outsider, he will undoubtedly be the spark for many an opinion among the coyotes -- but he will also be raised and protected by several influential figures in his life, including "Aunt" Clover and "Grandma" Vesper. As a result, blood will matter little to him
Oreo (as he's called by close friends and family since his siblings couldn't pronounce his name as pups) takes the most after his coyote father, Cartier -- always obeying orders and protecting his littermate Magpie and adoptive sibling Serenity

Essentials
- Species: Oriole is unmistakable as anything but a coydog.
- Fur: Coarse, short, wild-type fur with gloss. His scruff is a bit thicker and tends to fan out a bit from his face, framing it.
- Facial Features: Broad-headed with some wolf features, but overall looks very coyote in the muzzle with ears slightly smaller than a 'yote.
- Build and Size: Tall for a coyote, lean, strong.
- Humanization: Mid-level -- carries self in a more humanized fashion, straight-backed and proper, but unlikely to wear much.

The Comically Serious, Shrinking Violet, Nice Guy, Workaholic, & Pragmatic Hero
A serious young man with the heart and determination of a soldier who deeply loves his family. Oriole is humble, kind and generous: level-headed and intelligent. He's especially hard-working and deeply passionate. His family and Clan are immensely important to him. He serves as a Bellum and is constantly training and learning.
Oriole's education is well-rounded owing to the presence of his "Meemaw" Vesper and other prominent figures in Inferni. He's fiercely determined to be the best he can be, no matter what other's say. When he sets his mind to it, no one and nothing will get in his way.
Naturally Oriole is very competitive both physically and mentally. Despite this, he isn't boastful or rude, however he can be a sore loser and become easily frustrated when things don't go as he'd hoped. He has a tendency to take himself too seriously, especially after Cartier's injuries forced him to retire from leadership. This prompted Oriole to want to try and fill the gap, but he still has a long way to go.
Oriole is still a very impressionable young adult. His passion could just as easily be steered in another direction, however the boy's will is iron and there's only so far that he will go.
In contrast to his demeanor, Oriole is decidedly uncomfortable when emotions come into play. He is an excellent listener and a great comfort to his loved ones, however he has difficulty expressing himself in tense situations. He either hesitates or becomes defensive, but believes it best to avoid those situations altogether. Oriole has a slow burn temper. Despite his usually mild temperament he is entirely unafraid to speak out against any supposed wrong and will do so with passion.

- Species: Little species bias; one father is pure dog, and neither are hateful toward wolves. Oriole is wary toward wolves, however.
- Sexuality: Little to no sexuality bias; has two daddies and one of those daddies had two mommies. He's starting to have issues reconciling this with his faith.
- Justifies to himself that so long as non-heterosexual relationships are loving and monogamous God will forgive their sin.

- Jehan de l'Or is is Oriole's father. As a youth, he looks to Jehan for comfort, but eventually dislikes how frivolous and non-serious he tends to be. He disapproves of him sometimes but loves him.
- Cartier Inferni is Oriole's other father. He very much looks up to him and emulates his behavior, hoping to be a good and dutiful man like he is.
- Magpie Trouillefou is Oriole's sister. She harasses him every chance she gets, and he suffers this in stoic silence. He protects her whenever he can.
- Serenity Inferni is Oriole's slightly older adoptive sister, brought into the family a couple months after the puppies' birth. Oriole doesn't yet know that she was adopted and treats her like a second sister.

- Omar de le Poer is Oriole's "cousin" -- really a half-brother.
- Versace Inferni is Oriole's birth mother and aunt. He is devoted to her, considering her more of a mother figure than Mags does, and tries to emulate her behavior.
- Clover is Oriole's "aunt," more of a big-sister figure. Oriole casually uses Clover as a chew toy when he's little (especially her fun furry ears), and they'll later become sparring partners.
- Vesper is Oriole's grandmother (through Cartier's adoption), an often-present and a sort-of-scary figure. Oriole is unnerved by her (taking his cues from Jehan) but is determined to prove himself to her.

- Dove Reverie: As a kid Oreo viewed Dove as cold and intimidating, however his opinion has changed as he's grown and gotten to know her. He helped her search for her brother, and brought her food when she was deathly ill.
