Kuba Lykoi is the son of Io Berlin and Jacinto Lykoi. He was born in AniWaya and raised there for a few months before returning with his father to Inferni, where much of his family lives. He remained in Inferni for a few months before departing again.

1.  Appearance

• Species: Kuba is mostly coyote, with almost a quarter dog percentage. Coyote shows clearest on his features and build, but his fur's color and thickness betrays him for a hybrid. His doggish heritage is also apparent in his curled tail and floppy ear. His two-legged form appears more coyote than dog, while the inverse is true for his four-legged forms.
• Facial Features: Kuba has a coyote's face, though his muzzle is just a touch too thick and blunted to be purely coyote. His eyes are bright and exceptionally warm,
• Build: Kuba takes after his parents: his father Jacinto and his mother Io were both lithe and lean athletes. Their son is no exception, though his upper body is well-muscled thanks to his archery training. His back and shoulders are well-muscled, especially.
• Size: Kuba is roughly average in size -- he is medium-large, falling midway between coyote and Collie.
• Fur: His fur is somewhat fluffy, some days making him look bigger than he actually is. He inherited some of the long, silken fur of the Collie thanks to his mother.
• Tail: Just the tip of Kuba's tail curls; most of this appendage is rather straight. He holds his tail like a coyote -- straight out and generally unreflective of his position/rank in society.

• Kuba's base boat is Mine Shaft (#363636).
• His paws and the tip of his tail are coated in Domino (#8F765B).
• On his chest he has a patch of Spring Wood (#F5F3EB) shaped roughly like the heraldic Bialik eagle (obviously his markings are far more fuzzy than this image shows).
• The famous Lykoi stripe is a bright Pueblo (#7B1E0E).
• He has Lykoi Buddha Gold (#B59908) eyes.

• At a year and a half, Kuba is still curious and learning. He is eager, hungry for knowledge, and quite intelligent. He is a dedicated learner -- even where a skill is not natural or fun to him, he is capable of dedicating himself to a skill and learning it.
• He is helpful and generous -- there is little selfishness within Kuba.
• He is something of a trickster and jester. Though never cruel, Kuba does not let an opportunity to poke fun slip past him. Even in tense situations, he is not above cracking jokes and trying to defuse the situation with humor.

2.1  Name

While his full name is Jakub, no one ever calls him that (aside from Mommy) and many don't even know that that is his proper name. He will introduce himself with his full name only out of respect, usually.

2.2  Ideals

Interests Likes: Archery, Inferni, hunting, scouting, learning new things. Dislikes: Being yelled at, disagreements, general distress, being forced to do something. Traits Kind, excitable, curious, intelligent, playful. Outlook: Optimistic. Expression: Extroverted, submissive but not overly so and more out of choice than fear or the like. Alignment: Neutral Good Fears Mockery, not living up to expectations, being a bad pack mate/member. Motivations Inferni, making his father proud.

Biases Packs: Kuba has really warmed up to Inferni and thinks it's the best. He doesn't really know about any of the other packs. But he also has a fondness for his birth pack, AniWaya. Non-Luperci: Thinks non-Luperci must be pretty strong to have not already have the virus. Also thinks they are pretty cool. But thinks Luperci can be pretty cool, too. Mostly embraces humanized ideas but can still enjoy being feral every once and a while. Gender: Thinks girls can be kind of weird, but really likes motherly women now that his own mother isn't with him. Can also enjoy the company of other males but feels kind of intimidated by big manly men. Sexuality: None. Age: Likes elders and spending time with them, as well as really young puppies but for the latter (and maybe a bit for the first too) is kinda afraid he'll hurt them accidentally. Sexuality Likely bisexual. Monogamous. Low libido. Substances Unknown.

• Speech: He has a high-pitched, boyish voice. Kuba also speaks rudimentary Polish thanks to his mother, Io Berlin.

4.  Relationships

4.1  Key Relations Asher Thompson: A mentor of sorts for Kuba and a good friend! Jacinto Lykoi: They have a strong family relationship, as they should. Jacinto's not the best dad in the world but he tries his best and Kuba loves him for it! Vesper: A friend/acquaintance/pack mate of Kuba's. Vesper saw him back in AniWaya when he was very young, and now that the Lykoi is older and takes residence in Inferni they get along well. He respects her a lot!

4.3  Minor Relations Myrika Tears: They aren't too close, but Kuba admires her very much and is drawn to her current motherly state. Ombre: To be written!

4.4  Former Relations Io Berlin: His biological mother that cared for him. One of the only things he remembers of AniWaya is his mother. He is very fond of her, and does not yet know she was no longer in Nova Scotia for some time and has since returned.

4.5  Residence (Former) D'Neville Mansion, Inferni An overall cozy, but still in the process of repair, room. There is a makeshift table under a covered window where he places his bow & arrow when not in use. The room's pretty dark aside from a single candle that is lit from time to time. Though most of the walls and floors are in bad shape, there is a corner that has been cleaned vigorously, to make a place for various blankets and pillows. The corner seems better fitted for a curled up Lupus but could fit a sleeping Optime, albeit barely.

4.7  Abilities

Strengths Archery (Journeyman): Kuba learned from and was trained by Asher Thompson, and kept with the skill following his departure from Inferni. He practices several hours each day, and has become an expert marksman. Scouting (Journeyman): Not a very hard skill to grasp, so it's not too impressive, but after a few hours of patrolling Kuba has trained himself to be fairly alert while scouting. One or two things can still be missed by him on occasion, but it's starting to become more unlikely.

Weaknesses Inexperience (Potentially Very Harmful): Though he is an eager pupil, this Lykoi is still young and knows very little about the world and it's dark secrets. He is effortlessly manipulated by a talented liar. Fighting (Potentially Harmful): If stripped of his bow & arrow he would be not far from useless in a fight. All his "training" is simply from play fighting as a pup. Not only that, he'd likely panic in an encounter. That said, one has to give him some credit, for if he does have his bow & arrow and is aware that the fight is coming before it happens, he can hold his own.

6.1  Timeline

2012

• 20 August: Born into AniWaya -- there, he lived with his mother Io Berlin, as well as his biological father, Jacinto Lykoi. His stepfather Jaroslaw Fabianski aided in raising him.
• ~November: Moves to Inferni permanently with his father Jacinto Lykoi.

2013

• ~June (?): His father leaves Inferni.
• July: Kuba leaves Inferni.
• July -- When You Pick Him Up!: Here are a few options for you!
  • Kuba left Inferni in search of Jacinto. He fell in with some traders heading south to Freetown, making himself useful by protecting the small caravan with his bow and arrow. When one trader betrays the other, Kuba rescues the trader he is working for and ends the threat pretty much single-handedly. He is rewarded for his service with a horse and goods by the surviving trader. Kuba spends a few months in Freetown thereafter, frittering away the goods he had gained. He gambled a little more than he might have liked and wound up losing all but the horse. Disgusted, Kuba makes his way back to Inferni.
  • Kuba leaves Inferni for want of adventure. He finds it, though not what he would have liked. In the northern reaches of Maine, he is attacked by a cougar. He is rescued by Dalimil Kovachev -- though the woman does not stop long in her trade route to nurse him. Kuba is summarily deposited at Freetown, where he spends the next several weeks slowly recovering from his wounds. He is cared for by Mama Monifa, though even he knows little of her (having been kept separate from her home).
