Irene Salvato is the prodigy daughter of Locke Salvato, born in Mortimer shortly after its formation. Though she was born a shy child at first, she picked up many things from her Locke, her father, mostly hunting skills. She then branched out into spirituality and culture, finding her own talent to be the manipulation of others at a very young age, frequently compulsively lying to her packmates and feeling a sense of success whenever she succeeded. At six months when Irene came of age, she was pit against five captured pups to fight to the death. Irene was able to slaughter all of them without getting any major wounds. It was also then that she had her first taste of canine blood per the tradition's rules. Her cannibalistic father did not force her to take up his ways, but often fed in front of her, which normalized the act for her. As such, on that night she too grew a liking for both Luperci and non-Luperci flesh, albeit she saves it for enemies and other special occasions. Nevertheless, she became the second member that feeds upon victims of Mortimer. Because of her stunning performance in her trial, she was able to rise to the rank of Metropolitan, higher than Locke.
This also began her love for ambition and power. Though she admired and respected the Trombetta family, she grew secretly noncompliant at the prospect of never being able to rise much further in the ranks due to her own heritage. Determined to make something of the Salvato family, she asked her fellow Salvato where she could go to spread the lineage and make him proud. Locke, in turn, directed her to Nova Scotia—specifically Salsola—telling her what he knew of it and it's culture as he sent her on her way. She left after giving notice of leadership to where she was headed, however she left her true reasoning a secret as to not upset them.
Irene is open to Mortimer/Canada area threads in Canon LASKY.
Mortimer members and Loners may assume and reference the following without discussion/asking:
Seeing Irene wandering around Toronto or other areas around Canada.
Mentioning Irene being out on a hunt.
Seeing Irene tending to captured luperci, pups, and bodies - likely with her father, Locke.
Appearance
Basics
Essentials
Species: Like most of the Salvato family, the dog in her appearances does not show, most of her features are distinctly coyote.
Fur: Thin and smooth.
Optime Hair: Long and wavy, she makes sure it is kept in good state.
Facial Features: Her face is usually covered up by masks of some sort, but anyone that has seen Irene's true face often questions why she hides even part of it. She has been blessed with beauty in every aspect, and this doesn't stop at her facial features. Typically, people are mostly drawn to her piercing red eyes which frequently show her observant and dangerous nature to anyone talented with first impressions.
Build and Size: Her short and lean form often causes people to underestimate her, though she doesn't much mind. That becomes an advantage for her in the field of battle. Oddly for someone of her size, Irene has an iron grip, it's very hard to pry her hands off of anything she's determined to hold onto (physically as well as metaphorically.
Lupus (& Secui): Irene is meekest while in this form, she doesn't like being stripped of all her signs of luxury, and the fact that anyone might mistake her for a non-Luperci drives the point home. If you ever catch her in this form for whatever reason, expect her to be forced - carrying a scowl and isolating herself from anyone she doesn't absolutely have to talk to.
Optime: The polar opposite of Lupus, the young Salvato grows arrogance and an imposing nature. Decorated and stylish, this female knows she is beautiful and uses her looks to her advantage. Unlike the tenseness of her four-legged forms, normally she is lax and seen lounging around during break times in Optime.
Humanization: Irene is much more humanized than her family members before her when it comes to accessories and clothing, she likes to be fashionable. She may sometimes be seen with only half clothing i.e only a top piece, or bottom piece, however this is uncommon. She's particularly in love with the humans idea of intimacy when stripped of all your clothing, it being a metaphor for letting all your defenses down during romance. This is also why she's so uncomfortable in Lupus and Secui.

Adornments
Irene loves jewelry, namely necklaces. She can sometimes be seen wearing anywhere from two to four at a time, often threading her fingers through the collection around her neck if she's not twirling her hair.
Jewelry and Accessories
While frequently swapping accessories, Irene is almost always seen with her heart locket, though it is sometimes hidden by her bandana if she does not have it around her face as a mask.

And many other things that Sly is too lazy to find images for.

Interaction
Speech: Her vocal range is short - from silky seductiveness to mean condescension. Good luck getting anything else out of her.
Quirks, Gestures, Etc.: Likes to keep her hands occupied, clenching and unclenching her fists whenever she's in deep thought.
General Posture and Body Language: Hard to notice, but once you do, harder to take your senses off of her. She's the 'silent but deadly' type, a threat ever lurking in the shadows.
"Values her family, but will not heed their requests necessarily."

Biases
Packs: Views Salsola fondly — after all, that is why she was sent to Nova Scotia.
Non-Luperci: Despises Non-Luperci like all of Mortimer's members, views them as easy prey.
Sexuality: Doesn't particularly care for homoromance, can't understand why one would want to tie themselves to someone who can't provide them with a lineage.
Age: Surprisingly gentle and motherly with pups.
Gender: Though she never actually learned of Salsola's gender culture and as such was never influenced by it, like many with connections to the pack she too believes women are superior, and carries a great hatred for the fact that all of the leaders in Mortimer were primarily male.
Sexuality
Heteroromantic for the most part, but will sleep with females or other genders if it profits her. Currently views mateships as a partnership, a means to children and to extend the Salvato family. Getting her to truly love someone would be difficult, and the results for her would be catastrophic as putting someone before herself is a big no - no in her book. Despite her preference towards males because she doesn't understand homosexuality, it wouldn't be impossible for her to fall for a female, but it would have to be a heavy emotional bond, and not an instant attraction.
Interests
Likes: Organization, hunting, cooperation from others, friendly debates, planning
Dislikes: Unintelligence, laziness, lack of self control, hippies
Rapists
Substances
Will use or try any substance to get off stress, but sometimes abstains from it as to keep her mind sharp. It all depends on her mood.
Spirituality
Shockingly, despite her witch-like ways, Irene takes after her father in that she does not believe in any higher power — other than herself. She believes she herself is the closest you could get to a 'god'. However, she is an expert in culture blending to get close to others and manipulate them to work for her needs. Many times she has willed lesser minds away from a decision she doesn't like by invoking the 'the Gods will be angered' excuse back in Mortimer!
Locke Salvato is her father, whom she respects to a great degree and is grateful to him for raising her so carefully and teaching her his skills. Her father is why she left for Salsola, to become a prodigy and raise in ranks to represent the family to the Thistle Kingdom.
Hunting (Expert): The Salvato family is known for being excellent hunters, and Irene is no exception, taught by her father in the ways of the hunt. She's not as masterful as her father since she is young, but as a Salvato prodigy her skills were more than welcome among her previous pack.
Trapping (Journeyman): Also taught to her by Locke.
Skinning (Journeyman)
Butchering (Dabbler)
Fighting
Dagger (Expert)
Bow & Arrow (Journeyman)
Hand-to-Hand (Dabbler)

Trade
Irene is often open to trade, but is stingy and quite a slimeball, usually attempting to seduce her way out of expensive prices.
