2. Personality

For whatever reason, Isabella warped her first born daughter to expect great things and it twisted her into something rather dangerous. Delfina does not have any respect for anyone other than herself, her mother, and her leader. While she is highly devoted to all those powerful, she finds that only her mother is greatest. Aware of her father's identity, Delfina does not think highly of him as he was the one who gave her the painful headaches. It has led her to dislike her half-brother as well, and Ondine for not having the pain she inherited. She also knows that Ondine is not her father's daughter, and hates her for it. She fully believes that her blood is royal and that her half-sister's blood is sullied by the slave. It has led her to treat her as little better than a freed slave.

Others she regards with cold distance, often pained by her headaches. She also has the tendency to avoid labor, as she often times blacks out entirely when her headaches get too intense. Half of the time when she blacks out, she sees visions and she believes them to be sent by the Mother Goddess. It is this that she believes puts her above her half-brother, but also pushes her to dominate her control over him in any way she can.

Manipulative and spiteful, Delfina does not think much for love and affection, finding control more amusing to her and far more valuable. She likes her mother's female companion fair enough, but does not care more than to acknowledge her existence positively.

Lose of control- Because she reviles in controlling others, she worries that one day those she manipulates will become stronger than she can manipulate, so she tries her best to tighten her strings to prevent any wiggle room. This is especially true with Ondine, who was raised to be her subservient sister.
Loss of her mother - as much of a monster as she is, she has a very childlike devotion to her mother, who raised her to love family well, but it manifested in her very worship of her mother. It is a stark contrast between how she treats mother vs sister.
Visions - she has a respect and a fear of her own mind, as it sometimes slips from her own control when her headaches reach her pain threshold and she 'blacks out'. There are things she does not want to see.

However, she may consume mushrooms when she wants to induce a vision, as she finds the psychedelic drug tends to intensify her 'mind's eye'.
