The child of mated couple at the time, Tierney Brádaigh and Diarmid Ahearne, alongside his marginally younger litter-mate Kadir Ahearne, Dareios was born within the Government Estate, a claimed territory of the pack Sapient. During the first few weeks of life, he found himself in the constant company of his parents and older sibling, Ruari Ahearne and was subject to Kadir's dominant and feisty whims; or outright abuse and bullying, as he so likes to declare.
Unfortunately, this time of bliss was short-lived, for two months after their birth tragedy struck the pack. The consequences of Nivosus's actions reared their ugly head, resulting in the Dark Horse Conflict. Too young to truly comprehend what was happening around him, he witnessed as his once loving family was ripped apart; his father, Diarmid was killed in one of the initial attacks by loners Naya Griffon and Enzo Blackwood, his mother closing herself from the world and Ruari lost in a darkness that scared him on the best of days.
Now in a family divided and mourning, plagued by guilt over the fact he can barely recall his fathers voice or face, Dareios is attempting to carve out a path for himself and is driven by the desire to be strong; whilst strength cannot return what was lost, it may perhaps prevent someone else losing their father and experiencing that which his kin did.
Currently, Dareios is a member of Sapient, ranked Opus Summus, holder of the Bruiser Metier and is an aspiring warrior, with the intent to honor his father's memory. His boyfriend is Rowtag.

- Scent: Sapient, Moineau, Moineau, Ahearne, Brádaigh, Cuchulainn, Macmathan, Tierney Brádaigh.
- Speech: Raised in a bilingual household, Dareios speaks both English and Gaelic fluently and swaps between the two without much conscious thought; often requiring him to be prompted to stick to one or the other.
- Quirks, Gestures, Etc.: Rubs the back of his neck when nervous, very tactile with others and is prone to making painfully cheesy comments.
- General Posture and Body Language: do you have an imposing bro? or a meek and mild mouse?

2. Personality
One of the earliest lessons Dareios received in life was the strength of females; his sister playing rough, injuring him, leaving scars from their fights was soon followed by the strict and demanding expectations of his mother, who was just as quick to resort to violence to bring a lesson home. And so he learned to bend, learned to shove down his pride, curb his tongue and do what was necessary for his family. And when not under their thumb, he also learned to let loose and enjoy life to the fullest, to say what he thinks, when he thinks it, to do whatever pops into his head, displaying an almost blatant disregard to others in the process of his pursuit to have fun. Quick to be goaded into a dumb idea, even when he knows better, the Ahearne male is all about winning, about proving he can do something better, no matter the cost and a lads lad through and through. As often an instigator as he is a participant, pranks, dares and generally very bad ideas are all common occurrences in his life. Living for the thrill, to party and to test how far he can go, his approach to life and every situation is utterly reckless and without much fore planning. There had never been any question in regards to what he would do or what he'd become. A warrior – it was what everyone, not just his family, saw in him. Dislike of non-luperci was drilled into him, along with the belief that there was no such thing as overkill and that the only good feral is a dead feral, to which he blindly agrees with and cannot be swayed on these beliefs. |
