I might take a little while to respond; if I don't respond within a week, feel free to poke me! I'll always let you know if you've been accepted or not.

- Strict adoptables have a [S] tag
- I will usually be looking for experienced, active players.
- These characters are open to minor changes with discussion, and often have pre-set character arcs or plots in mind.

- Normal adoptables have a [N] tag
- These characters have set appearances, origins, and personality traits, but are generally not very strict.
- These characters are open to changes with some discussion!

- Freeform adoptables have a [F] tag
- These characters are either very loose, or I've been trying to adopt them out without much success.
- These characters are always open to changes before adoption!

2. Player Adoption
I try to adopt out to players who are consistently active! I may not adopt out to people who:
- Can't stick with characters consistently (dropping a lot, switching, etc)
- Are not very active (less than 6 posts/month)
- Express interest in adoptables, but do not pick them up
2.1 Pre-Adoption Changes

For characters who have not appeared at 'Souls yet:
I'm generally open to before-adoption changes to personality, history, and appearance! However, please discuss these changes with me before implementing them upon adoption. :)

For characters who have appeared at 'Souls already:
I'm still open to changes being made, but it may not be possible depending on how in-depth the character was RPed. Again, please discuss changes with me prior to adoption!

2.2 Post-Adoption Changes
- After you've adopted the character, please feel free to develop them at will!
- Certain characters may be tied to plots or character arcs; if we've decided on a plot or arc beforehand, please do your best to fulfill it before shaking things up too much!
3. Re-Adoption
About
I put a lot of effort into my adoptables, and so in some cases, I may adopt them out again if you drop or NPC them. <3
Specific Terms
I may choose to re-claim and re-adopt the character if you have:
- dropped them / was removed with only brief play (0 - 12 months, 0 - 200 posts, etc.)
- dropped them / was removed with underactivity (less than 6 posts/month, inconsistent posting, excessive unfinished threads, etc.)
- deviation from previously established plots or character arcs
- disappeared from or quit 'Souls (1 year or more), or been banned from 'Souls
- otherwise broke a specific term of the adoption contract

Your Stuff
- All baubles (art, titles, icons, etc.) originally given with the adoptable return with the character.
- Commissioned and bought art is considered your property; it's up to you if you wish to allow new users to use commissioned art!
- Titles and icons...
- ... earned via game points, contests, etc. are considered your property; however, you must request removal/transfer in a timely manner after dropping the adoptable or they become property of the new player.
- ... purchased via the 'Souls store are considered your property and may be removed/transferred to your own character at any time.
