Guilds are collectives of characters who possess co-ranks or interests of similar categories and talents. The free-form nature of Guilds allow characters to build connections in character and form groups based on these common interests. Characters must be a member of the Enda tier to join or create a Guild. At this time there is no limit to how many members may be in any specific Guild, but remember - variety is the spice of life!
Creating a Guild is easy!
1. Benefits of Guilds
- Guilds are essentially like a union of workers. Nobility can barter for Guild Services, but must do so on the Guild's terms.
- Guilds are flexible - they can be managed in different ways, it's up to the characters how they function!
- Multiple Guilds of the same category can be made as long as they have different names and purposes. Guilds of similar backgrounds can be competitive or collaborative with one another.
- Claiming a dedicated Guild workshop. Guilds are able to claim buildings in either Haven or the City Square, depending on their District.

2.3 Joining a Guild
Characters must have at least one thread with the Guild of their choice that showcases their wish to join. This thread can display their skills, or involve a simple discussion! Joining a Guild must transpire In Character.
3. Renown
Guilds are able to acquire renown based on utilising their skills for the benefit of the Realm. The more renown a Guild has, the more respected it is amongst its peers. Renown is gathered by completing challenges that see your Guild from Bronze, to Silver, Gold, and then Diamond! The goal of renown is to encourage participation and strengthen bonds between Guild Members. Renown is a fun side-challenge that is not mandatory once a Guild is formed.

4. Renown Requirements
Guild challenges will be listed with the regular monthly thread prompts, but there is no time limit for completing each prompt. They are designed to push your Guild towards excellence and are better completed with more members; after all, as you reach the next level of renown, it requires a much heftier word count!
Guilds begin with, well, no renown; the Realm hasn’t heard of your deeds yet! But completing challenges will earn your Guild’s place in New Caledonia. Similar to co-ranks, you may only use one Guild prompt per tier.
