1.  OOC Policies

These are the OOC policies of Mistfell Vale. Please adhere to them, or you may be removed from the pack!

1.1  NPC Policies Players may have no more than 5 NPCs within Mistfell Vale, regardless of how many characters he or she has within the pack. This rule doesn't apply to animal NPCs.

Family NPC Limits Families may have no more than 3 NPCs within Mistfell Vale of or over the age of 6 months. A family is defined as two parents and their pups. Grandchildren, aunts, uncles, etc. are not included in this definition. If these rules are broken, players and families will have two weeks to find a player for their NPCs, or move them off-board. Repeated breaking of this rule may result in removal from the pack!

aNPC Status All aNPCs are automatically demoted to the Whalstray rank, but keep their co-ranks and Drakehund ranks if they have any. Mistfell Vale has a time limit of 8 months for any aNPCs - after this, all aNPCs will be removed, regardless of status. The time limit is 3 months for players who have gone inactive (have no active characters). Exceptions to these rules may be sought from leadership.

1.2  Thread Completion

For co-rank, Drakehund rank, and thread prompt purposes, a thread is considered 'complete' if you have written at least 1,000 words in it. Read-Onlys and Self-Threads are permitted!

1.3  Thread Stacking

Co-rank and Drakehund rank threads can stack only once per tier. For example, if you have a thread in which your character acts as a hunter for the tier I hunter co-rank, you can also have that thread involve gift-giving for the tier I Drakehund rank thread - however, the other threads for your co-rank and Drakehund rank must be separate! Additionally, Drakehund rank threads cannot stack (ex. a gift-giving thread that's also a thread prompt can only count as 1 of the Drakehund tier I threads).

Thread Prompts cannot stack - they must be completed one at a time. :) However, thread prompts can stack with co-rank or Drakehund rank threads.

1.4  Earning Additional Ranks

All threads intended to be submitted for Drakehund ranks and co-ranks must be started after your character is promoted and sorted into one of the three houses, otherwise they will not count.

1.5  Joining?

Joining the Vale is easy - just make an IC joining topic in our forum! :) Do you want to adopt a character instead? We have tons of awesome adoptables for you to peruse as well.

2.  IC Policies

These are the IC policies of Mistfell Vale. Failure to adhere to them may result in your character being removed from the pack!

2.1  Trespassing

Characters that are not a part of the Vale are not permitted to trespass into its land without permission. Trespassing without permission will result in your character being chased out and possibly not allowed back!

Guests

Members of the Vale are permitted to have guests stay with them for a maximum period of 3 days. For Mistwalkers who want guests to stay for longer, permission must be sought from leadership.

2.2  Greeting Joiners

Members of the Silvenpath tier and above can greet joiners - if you are of Bronspath or below, please ask before greeting a joiner. Only leaders can accept joiners. If a joiner thread goes for 48 hours without a reply from a leader, they will be automatically accepted (if they would have been accepted through natural roleplay).
