The Drakehund ranks are entirely optional (yet fun!) extra 'ranks' to earn for your character. Achieving the Drakehund ranks shows dedication to the pack, and grants IC benefits, as well as an icon depending on the tier that was earned. Note:

  • Tiers are subsequent - tier I must be earned before tier II, and tier II must be earned before tier III.
  • Threads for subsequent tiers must be started after the previous tier has been completed and approved by leadership.
  • Only those in the Proven tiers and above can earn co-ranks. Threads must be started after a character has been promoted to the Proven ranks.

1.  Earning a Drakehund Rank

When your character first earns a Drakehund rank, they will automatically be given the tier I icon. Different tiers have different requirements - check out below to see what you need to do! Remember the completion guidelines!

1.1  Earning Tier I

1.2  Tier I Rewards

Tier I is the lowest tier of Drakehund rank, and the easiest to obtain. To obtain a tier I Drakehund rank, you must:

  • Complete 2 thread prompts.
  • Complete a thread in which your character gives a packmate a gift.

Once you've completed that, please submit the following form to the leadership account or post it in pack maintenance:

  • A Vale-themed blanket made of rabbit or beaver fur.
  • A leather cord necklace with white feathers and seaglass.
  • 25 game points.

1.3  Earning Tier II

1.4  Tier II Rewards

To obtain a Tier II Drakehund rank, you must:

  • Have the Tier I Drakehund rank.
  • Complete at least 2 AW threads in 2 distinct sub-territories of the Vale.
  • Complete a thread featuring the image animal of your character's house.

Once you've completed that, please submit the following form to the leadership account or post it in pack maintenance:

  • A Vale-themed bone dagger.
  • A Vale-themed messenger bag made of deerskin.
  • A leather cord necklace with blue feathers and seaglass.
  • 50 game points.

1.5  Earning Tier III

1.6  Tier III Rewards

Tier III is the highest tier of Drakehund rank. To obtain a tier III Drakehund rank, you must:

  • Have the Tier II Drakehund rank.
  • Organize and complete a pack event (such as a hunt, a celebration, or a feast).
  • Complete a thread in the Vale featuring at least 1 pNPC.
  • Have two co-ranks of any tier.

Once you've completed that, please submit the following form to the leadership account or post it in pack maintenance:
