Because ranks are separated by house rather than by job, co-ranks are a great and important way to determine what your character contributes to the pack! Unlike most other packs, Mistfell Vale allows players to create their own co-ranks for their characters to suit their specific skillsets. Co-ranks can be wide and overarching (like 'hunter' or 'scout') or specific to your character's skills (like 'ranged elk hunter' or 'evening border patrol')!

Co-ranks in the Vale have three tiers - tier I through tier III - and these indicate how skilled your character is at their specific co-rank within the pack. Note:

• Tiers are subsequent - tier I must be earned before tier II, and tier II must be earned before tier III.
• Threads for subsequent tiers must be started after the previous tier has been completed and approved by leadership.
• Only those in the Proven tiers and above can earn co-ranks. To show dedication to the pack, threads can be started before a character has been promoted to the Proven ranks and turned in after promotion.

Upon earning a co-rank, your character will gain an icon dependent on the co-rank tier and your character's house.

All threads intended to be submitted for Drakehund ranks and co-ranks must be started after your character is promoted and sorted into one of the three houses, otherwise, they will not count. Only one RO per tier is permitted!

Remember to check out the completion guidelines for co-rank threads! Threads cannot be reused for co-ranks (ex. a thread you used for obtaining a tier I co-rank cannot be used for obtaining tier II of that co-rank).

1.  Earning a Co-Rank

1.1  Tier I

Tier I is the lowest tier of co-rank, and the easiest to obtain. To obtain a tier I co-rank, you must: Complete 2 threads related to your desired co-rank. 1.2  Tier II

To obtain a tier II co-rank, you must: Have a tier I co-rank that will be upgraded to tier II. Complete 3 threads related to your desired co-rank. 1.3  Tier III

Tier III is the highest tier of co-rank. To obtain a tier III co-rank, you must: Have a tier II co-rank to be upgrade to tier III and have had it for at least 2 months. Complete 4 threads related to your desired co-rank. The following are various co-ranks earned by current and past members of Mistfell Vale! Remember, you are not limited to pre-established co-ranks, and neither do you need to avoid them. These are simply to give you ideas and showcase some of the cool co-ranks our players have created!
