Tweed was a member of Inferni. He was a young feral coyote who, having barely survived "wolf country," sought sanctuary in the coyote clan not long before the Second Boreas Conflict. During this time, he befriended Amariah Eld, who was secretly a Boreas infiltrator. His friendship with the traitor led to Tweed's death; after being unwittingly roped into kidnapping a pair of Inferni puppies, Tweed was killed by their father, Basilio Lykoi.

4.  NPCs

4.1  Peabrain

  • Grey grade mare
  • Despite what her name suggests, Peabrain is not particularly unintelligent; she is merely an extremely docile creature, at times apathetic. She doesn't seem to mind whether her rider is inexperienced or not and tends to "go with the flow," though she does not like "hard" riding (e.g., galloping or jumping) and will roll to remove a rider abusing her.

4.2  Badhorse

  • THE THOROUGHBRED OF SIN
  • Badhorse, on the other hand, is mean. He will go out of his way to be aggressive to canines and other horses, and is a real challenge to work with. His saving grace is his dependency on Peabrain; he tends to relax when tied to her, which is the only reason Tweed managed to get him this far.

5.  History

Born non-Luperci somewhere in eastern Canada. At least one of his siblings was gobbled up by a wolf. He lost his parents -- misplaced them, actually -- and was roaming alone and helpless until an older coyote stranger took him in. The man turned him Luperci, "groomed" him to suit his needs, and taught him life skills such as hunting and caring for horses (of which he had a pair). When he died, Tweed felt overwhelmed and sought other coyotes, which brought him to Inferni.

  4. We've all got battle scars (11 Jan 2017)
Tweed plays with Crucifix de le Poer's daughters Faith and Hope, and invites Amariah to play, too. When Amariah mentions that he wants to investigate some suspicious activity in the forest to Crucifix, Tweed volunteers to remain behind with the pups.
  5. [M] Let your mother's bible burn (20 Jan 2017)
Tweed's experiences during the Second Boreas Conflict are touched upon, as is his growing affection for and trust in Amariah, which is implied to be requited. When Amariah warns Tweed of an imaginary plot by Vicira Tears to harm Crucifix's children, Tweed agrees to help spirit the pups away to safety. However, they are found by other Infernians -- and Basilio Lykoi attacks Tweed, strangling the boy. The last thing Tweed hears before he dies is Amariah screaming for him.
