1.  Synopsis

Great niece to Gramma Dill, Lucille and her brothers struck out into the world on a wing and a prayer after heralding their grandmother, Harabelle's, praise and adulation over her long-lost sister as she lingered on her death bed. As the aging woman grappled with regrets and muddled memories of a life loved and a life lived, Lucy spent her evenings consumed with tales in Harebelle's final hours, and, in a promise to her grandmother, was urged to seek out the woman that existed only in myth to her and her siblings. After an arduous journey further North, and a litany of little problems and hiccups that delayed their path, the trio were finally directed towards a place called Palisade, where they lingered at the promise that Del Cenere often made trips for trade.

Reunited with her wayward family member, and seeking to learn all she can from Dillon and get to know her, Lucille has come to Del Cenere proper to flex her worth as a shepherd, and perhaps unwittingly bond over similarities she and her Great Aunt share.

2.  Appearance

Basics

Typical and standard of most doggish blood - she has a landrace build, comprised of long legs, a deeper chest, and a somewhat shorter than average tail befitting most hunting breeds. Her coat is thick and curly, though the kink of its fiber is looser than what most would expect of poodles. It is a sandy cream in color, with a pallid white underbelly - which, for the most part, does not vary much outside of a dark, freckled shoulder patch lined in tawny, or her dark-tipped ears.

  • Quirks, Gestures, Etc.: Wide-eyed and expressive. Folds her hands a lot when she speaks to tame her gestures and exuberance.
  • Posture and Body Language: Bubbly, alert. Lucy is a conundrum in that she is bristling with energy yet somehow exudes a friendly patience and approachable demeanor.

3.  Personality

Basics

Tender hearted, yet buoyant despite adversity - Lucille endeavors perpetually after life's silver linings and the opportunities each challenge brings. Her optimism, and her patience, know no bounds and are seemingly limitless, if not infectious in nature. Prone to wearing her heart on her sleeves, Lucille makes for a terrible liar and her emotiveness regularly betrays her inner thoughts as they play out across her sharp little face. Whenever she finds herself knocked down, she never remains there long.

Lucy's intrepid mannerisms carry her through her interactions with relative ease, and she is undoubtedly helpful to a fault - and, unfortunately, her generosity does make her a target for others; with her understanding mannerisms and predisposition as something of a people-pleaser, her ability to read others' intentions is often muddled and conflicted. As such, she is frequently indecisive, which belies a deeper anxiety which, even whilst unbeknownst to her, permeates her every action. Not one to sit back on her laurels, this results in an almost chronic sense of fomo (fear of missing out). Lucille will frequently stretch herself too thin to accommodate everyone.
