Kitiara was born to a jackal-dog mother and a jackal father. Her father came from Africa while her mother had been a merchant born to Japanese parents. She grew up in a small town close to Portland. The girl dabbled in magic as well as helped others in her town as a young girl. When she came of age, she left and headed towards 'Souls and heard of a group of witches on her travels.

1.1  Essentials

Basics

  • Kitiara is a small for a Luperci yet average for a jackal. She has the features of a jackal: slender body, long legs, bushy tail, and long ears. Her muzzle doesn't taper and she looks entirely jackal except for her fur which is rather doggish in length and coloring. She has different shades of brown fur on a light tan body and a silver and brown saddle.
  • Her Lupus form is very jackal-like and long-legged. She is fast in this form with thicker fur and jackal-like build.
  • Her Secui form is larger and long=legged with some muscle on her body.
  • Her Optime form is tall with a modest bust and hips

Strengths

  • Animal Handling (Journeyman): Kitiara loves animals and enjoys handling them. She thinks horses are cute and loves handling them. She can also handle some birds since she helped the falconers back home.
  • Magic (Apprentice): Kitiara is interested in rituals and enchantments.
  • Tailoring (Journeyman): Kitiara can tailor clothing and loves expanding her wardrobe and feels like everyone should have nice clothes.
  • Spear (Apprentice): Kitiara was taught to use an Assegai by her father. She can throw and hunt with it as well as use it as a weapon.

Weaknesses

  • Small Prey: Kitiara is best when she uses her spear on larger animals from further away. She would have trouble aiming at a rabbit unless they were very close.

6.  History

Kitiara Birch was born to a merchant mother from Japan and a trader father. The two had settled down in a town close to Portland when they learned of Aya's pregnancy. The parents still traded but also raised their girl. Kitiara was taught tailoring by her mother and to defend herself by her father. She struggled to read paragraphs though this went unnoticed by her parents as they were only concerned that she could read words but not books.

The Birch child was sent to work for the stables when she was eight months old to teach her responsibility. She soon grew to like horses and the other animals that were housed in the stables. She was a hard worker and did well at her job and helped her parents when she could with their trading.

And then, a witch came to town and the girl was enthralled when she had her fortune read and was given an enchanted necklace. She was convinced by the power of magic when she fell from the loft and miraculously landed on the hay that had been just placed. She was interested in magic and the witch taught her what she could before she had to leave.

When Kitiara was 2 months shy of reaching two years, she decided to leave the comfort of her town and family to set out in the world. She headed towards Halifax since she had heard great things about the town. Before she got there, she was robbed by traders and barely made it to Halifax without her horse. She met two ex-Anathemans, Adrian Raven-Shadowryn and Mystery whom helped her to get back on her feet.
